It's very tastefully decorated, super clean, and the food is amazing. I ate there twice on my trip and both salads I had were full of flavor and very filling. I even got to meet the owners, who were total sweethearts, and very pleasant to chat with. They definitely deserve your patronage! I'll be hitting this place up on my next visit in a month or two.

I've been to this Sattgrün a couple of times and will definitely keep coming back…read more The concept is simple and awesome: Vegan buffet - small plate 5,90€, big plate 7,90€. There's around a dozen of different dishes to chose from plus a salad bar. You can mix salads and hot meals all on one plate. Soups are 4,50€ for a small bowl and 6,50€ for a large bowl. All drinks are organic - coffee, tea, beer, wine, juice. ... and what can I say. The food is simply delicious. And even if you're not vegan or vegetarian. I doubt you'll be missing the meat. Goulash, filets... If there's anyone you wanna convince that being vegan doesn't mean that you're on a raw food diet this is the place to show them! The only pity is that it closes at 4pm which means I can only go there on Saturdays.

What a great find!…read more Stopped here for dinner with colleagues, and was so glad I did since I had been craving a good burger. They easily accommodated our group of 8 and a service dog. I ordered the We Love Cheese and really enjoyed it. Flavorful and juicy. They cook all of their burger medium or well done. Having a medium burger was a first for me but I didn't mind it. Great service as well.

Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of excellent choices available. Multiple hot soups, soy, vegetable and salad dishes were available. As an occasional vegan, I found this restaurant to be an excellent choice able to satisfy most cravings and very reasonably priced. Pricing is based on plate size, which you can pile on. I went with the large plate for €11 and was barely able to finish my dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant for both vegans and non-vegans alike.

Most places I've tried in Germany serve skin that's been charred black on request only...yuck. Adding pork skin that's done right adds a crunchy texture and salty base to a sandwich, and it's a large reason why this is the best pork sandwich I've had since relocating to Germany. The bread is the typical white/French roll but it soaks up juices well. There was a line to get the sandwich, but it was efficient. Assuming you want something to-go, just walk up and tell them what you want. Most order the pork sandwich and you'll be eating after a very short wait. Unfortunately, I wanted to take a Schweine Haxe to-go but they said it wouldn't be ready for another 30 mins. Guess I'll need to come back.

The place ia very Thai, decorations, sound, smell, kind approach. The menu has a very large choice of dishes, they all differ from meat, fish and vegetables, but have the same sauces. Little peppers indicate if the plate is spicy, but when I ordered the red curry shrimps that was supposed to be fire-alarm hot, it wasn't at all. Overall the food is amazingly tasty, fish is soft and savoury, vegetables are crunchy, sweet and sour sauces are the best. My choices were tim yam and pad thai, two classics. I wasn't disappointed! Also thai beer is very nice and goes along well with the rest of dishes you order. There's a plate of mixed appetizers, very good, but also poor in choices, would be better to put 6 or 7 different things, not just 3.
