Over the past year, I had been casually looking online for a new home. We were happy in our current home, but if the "perfect" house popped up on the market, we were definitely willing to move. During 4th of July weekend, the home we had been waiting for finally appeared on the market. I texted Laurie at 8pm asking if we could tour the home the next morning. Laurie was super flexible and made it work, even with her busy schedule. She took us to the property we were interested in, as well as a few other homes so we had some comparables. We never felt rushed during the process and if we asked Laurie for her opinion, she was honest and very insightful! By the afternoon, my husband and I decided to make an offer on the house! However, we had to list and sell our current home in order to purchase the new one! Within ~72 hours, Laurie was able to list/sell our home, and get our offer submitted/accepted for the new house. During the close process, we ran into a few unforeseen obstacles (none of which any of us had control over).
