The only reason Laura Ashley doesn't get five stars from me is because personally the fashion isn't really my thing. That's not to say it's not the epitome of class and elegance because it is. Hailing back to the original days of Coco Chanel and characterising classic French chic fashion - think polo suits, tweeds and navy and white 'sailor' styles, as well as billowing three quarter skirts circa 1950's.

Being the leaders in providing new styles, my fave look in their current Home magazine is a combination of classic Victorian white and cream tones with lace and soft fabrics, put together with a startling, magnificent red sofa, complete with adornments.
Obviously being an extravagant brand, be prepared to pay an equally exorbitant price; but if you're lucky enough to be shopping around in this price bracket there is no better place for giving luxury to your home. read more
