Laura Ashley was always a shop I hesitated outside as I was never sure if I was dressed well enough to enter. Once I braved the notion of entering it wasn't as bad as I thought. Although the products in store are more expensive than you would buy elsewhere they are presented beautifully. I think this is where my problem about entering stemmed from. However, inside, although beautiful it is a bit of a mish mash with products being displayed in no particular order or theme. The range is quite quirky but comes with an expensive price tag. It's a great place to buy someone a wedding present or a house warming gift but for kitting out your whole kitchen, it would cost a pretty penny. Staff are helpful and try their best but lack any real drive or cheeriness, sometimes a little dead-beat, however they just could have had an off day! read more
