High quality ladies fashion shop with imaginative and attractive pieces chosen by the owner…read more The staff are always friendly and helpful, providing excellent advice if required; they are also very happy for customers to just browse undisturbed and are not pushy in any way unlike some shops. I have been a loyal customer for many years and am always totally happy with my purchases, often wearing them constantly as they never fail to fit beautifully and wear well. Visitors to Woodbridge should definitely pay this shop a visit - you will not be disappointed.

Walkers of Pottergate

Poor quality and terrible customer service…read more I bought a coat from Walkers for £250 and just over six months later the fabric is disintegrating in not one but many different places to the point that I cannot wear it. On contacting Walkers they have told me that neither they nor the manufacturer will accept it as faulty due to the length of time I have owned it. I believe that a price tag of £250 merits a garment that lasts longer than 6 months. They assured me that in the space of eight hours both they and the manufacturer had managed to contact and receive replies from every single customer that had bought the identical garment. They were able to tell me that none of them had had a similar problem. A true feat of efficiency but of no use to me. When I asked for further help they simply ignore my emails.

But, it does have a reasonable menswear department in the basement that's always worth a look, especially when they're running one of their blue cross sales and the prices drop by 70%. That's the time to pick up some real bargains. And when you're done head to the top floor for some mega bargains in the kitchens and electricals. There's a Game concession in the store too. These include mens, ladies and childrens clothing, homeware, gifts and cosmetics and fragrances. This is a very well displayed and neat, tidy store. The clothes department do stock alot of designer items and I've found these to be quite pricey although there are some good bargains to be had at one of their many sales throughout the year. They often have blue cross days which is 25% off throughout the entire store.
