This is a probably the nicest laundromat I've found anywhere. It opened in late 2019, has a large…read morenumber really good high-tech washers and dryers, including a few which are huge and will accommodate king sized comforters and other large items, and has friendly and helpful staff. You can do self serve (which I did), drop off for wash and fold service, or pickup/delivery from a broad area of metro San Juan (as far as Dorado or Rio Grande!). Great choice if you don't want to do your own laundry (it does take a lot of time...), if you have an Airbnb and want a service to wash all the towels and linens between guests, if you are on an extended stay in San Juan and don't want to pay hotel prices for laundry, or if your washing machine at home broke and you need to cover the time until your new machine arrives. Or if you have a few large items which don't fit in your own machine. There is parking, a decent Chinese restaurant, a bar, and a grocery store in the same shopping center, which has sufficient parking (and a guard to keep it orderly). It is coinless, you pay with a credit card into an account online or at the machine. The machines are quite fast, and a complete wash and dry cycle takes about an hour. There is free WiFi, a wide variety of detergents and other cleaning products, and good covid-19 protocols in place to protect everyone's safety.

Ugh. Such a relief of a business which sticks with what they say…read more We were not about to have such a small amount of clothes dry cleaned at any of these run down looking businesses. This place was so easy to deal with! We walked in with a few small bags of clothes from our week in PR and they weighed them and we paid for drop off service with same day pick up. Although we could not make it the same day, the next day they had everything ready still and they were SUPER nice. Very pleasant and had great manners, which you don't get often in PR unfortunately. If we ever decide to come back to PR, definitely will visit them again

This is the only place that I would do dry cleaning on St. Thomas. There are only two options on…read morethis island, Magras and Island laundry. I've had extensive experience with both dry cleaners through work, personally as well as from feedback that friends have given me over the past few years and Magras wins on every front. Customer Service: The owner Diane rocks! I've had many special requests and tight time tables (one after the hurricane) and she made them all happen. She's also very easy to work with and will even do drop off and pick up services so you don't have to go into the location. Quality: I like my clothing back the same way I dropped it off. I've only had the experience consistently with Magras. Weird black stains, half missing buttons, shrunken clothing and discolored areas are not what I pay a dry cleaners to do and is what you'll get with the other dry cleaner. Magras also knows of how to treat mold on clothing with natural non harmful products to your clothing which was so helpful after the hurricane as we had a closet full of mold after our home was flooded due the the hurricanes. Pricing: It's comparable to the only other dry cleaner on island and if you're going to be paying for the service you might as well get your money's worth through quality and customer service. Location: Fortunately Magras is in the Tutu area which was one of the first areas to get water and power after the emergency/ essential buildings got powered up post hurricanes. The owner is also installing a mega generator so she's able to run the plant when the electricity company does rolling outages. We've never had a problem with parking here and it's a convenient area to swing by after grocery shopping and errands. Overall Magras is a pretty stellar operation and after struggling with the other cleaner ( island laundry) I would never go back to them. #St.Thomas #USVI

    Island Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Who has time in their day to argue with their dry cleaner? We certainly don't, but unfortunately,…read moreif you use Island Laundry for your dry cleaning needs, this will happen. I'd say one time out of three something wrong will happen with your clothing if you send it here. We get it, help is hard to find on St. Thomas but we have been complaining about the buttons on my husbands shirts that are constantly half broken off since the beginning of 2016. This isn't an isolated case, my hubby's co-workers experience the same thing as well as my co-workers. Its really annoying because I get to replace them and no matter how many times you complain, the owner doesn't change anything or appear to care to speak with his staff to get better. You'll also have to deal with the occasional black random gross tar like smear across clothing that is a typical trademark of this cleaner. This dry cleaner has ruined (completely discolored and shrunk) a few very expensive pieces of my bosses clothing, so its worth it to pay just a little more to go to the other dry cleaner, Magras, in the Tutu Park Mall area. I just think this company has had the luxury of doing whatever they wanted to with everyone's clothing because they were the only game in town until this year. The only good thing that I can say is that they can do same day dry cleaning and do drop off and pick up, but it doesn't really matter if your clothes comes back damaged. #St.Thomas #USVI
