It's clean there's not a lot bs going on inside. The dryers are in working order. There's always an employee there to assist you. They have products that you can purchase if you need to. Also, they have their own card so you can a use the machines. But if you don't have a card they have a card for you to use. It's a really nice clean laundromat and I would definitely recommend.

Dryers are 25 cents per 5 min on smaller unit and 50 cents on large unit. They only take quarters and have a change machine available. Getting all your laundry done at once is a fair trade off especially if you are only doing this occasionally. Vending machine has snacks which range from $1.25 to 2.00 which is actually cheaper than cvs snacks however the beverage machine is expensive so bring your own drink if possible.

When I entered the building my nose was assaulted by the smell of fresh clothes. The attendant , Ms Washington, was extremely friendly, and didn't give me a hard time about not knowing how the machines work. When you enter to the left you will find carts organized by size and to the right of the door is a card kiosk. The kiosk takes both cash as well as mobile tap. Once you enter the amount you would like a plastic card is dispensed for you to use. This card can be used on both washers and dryers and at all of their locations. You can check your balance or add money to this card at the kiosk at any time. I came on a Wednesday, which happens to be " Wacky Wednesday" and all washers were half. Washer sizes and prices are listed below ( I came in on a Wednesday the prices listed below are 50% off ) 12x - $7.47 9x - $5.97 6x - $4.47 4x - $3.25 3x - $2.47 2x - $1.75 I was thoroughly impressed with how much the largest washing machine was able to fit. ( 12x ) I was personally able to get 1 King comforter, 3 twin comforters and some left over clothes that didn't fit the other load. Each load no matter the size of the machine seems to run about 25 minutes. There's a space on top of the machine for you to add fabric softener and liquid laundry detergent. I also like to bring sent beads that I toss in for extra smell. The center of the room is filled with different seating areas and there is even a little children's area in the front to the left. There are folding tables along the side with the dryers. I will definitely be back and in a weird way the experience was so enjoyable I'm kinda looking forward to it.

Make sure not to get fully wet clothes to make most Value... lol. We did our own clothes which was very easy. We used one large load in Commercial Washer ($7.00) and 40 mins in Dryer ($0.25 for every 5 mins). They have free WiFi. Bring your iPad to catch up on a movie and do not forget to get Soap Softner and (Bleach for your Whites) and Bounce.

It's also a historic Black owned business that's been around, I think, 100 years. I am very happy to be supporting this Richmond institution.

It's now been gutted out and we haven't been able to wash clothes since before Christmas, so of course we had to head to the laundromat. This is the closest one to where we live. It is really clean! The staff are constantly working, cleaning the machines cleaning the floors dumping out the trash etc. They have plenty of laundry carts to move your laundry from washer to dryer and then from dryer to folding tables. There are two bathrooms to change machines and a bill to Bill exchange machine. They even have two vending machines, one of snacks and one of sodas. There is another machine close to the front door that has a variety of different drinks and you take what you want and go to the office which is located in the back of the laundromat near the bathrooms to pay for what you got there a hand written signs around. They also offer a wash in food service and you pay by the pound. Their website says $1.40/lb. There are 2 tv's. The staff were very friendly. And I get that but then again damn what that what that what is a good but good one to pet you a good dog The washing machines range in size and price. Some of the machines are $2.75 and more for smaller loads. The next size up are $3.25 but if you changed it from light soiled to medium soiled then it was $4.00. I think the highest I paid for one of the machines was one of the bigger ones on the end of one of the islands and it was $5.00. The dryers are 0.25 cents for six minutes. Of course they have the standard vending machine if you forgot your soap & dryer sheets. Like I said, the staff were always cleaning, wiping down and sanitizing the tops of the machines, the handles and all the buttons on the front. Mopping the floors, I even saw them scrubbing the area where you put the soap and softener into the washers. Great place I'd come back for sure.
