I first went in with my laundry and said good moring, no one responded. There was a short haired woman and a man. I later found out the woman was the owner. I began washing my clothes and went to buy doughnuts the woman seemed utterly furious that I had the audacity to ask, what flavors she had. I bought a coffee as well and not as much as a thank you for my purchase.. not a have a nice rest of hope day... nothing. I ate and took my clothes out of the washer. The woman immediately started sweeping behind me and practically under my feet. She wanted me out. I belive she was talking about me to the man that was there. She was highly upset because there was a small amount of lint from my blanket on the floor. I would of picked it up but she wouldn't let me. She again was speaking about me to the man.. instead of me drying my clothes I took them home to hang up because I couldn't stand the feeling I had being there. I felt embarrassed and I'm not sure why. I brushed it off to get having a bad morning. I wanted to not just brush it off as racism and went back in a few months later but just for donuts she gave me the exact same treatment. I was going to move to tupper lake but found that the racism in this town is real even in 2025. Im sharing this to let others know about my personal experience. I will never go in this place again. I would never want my children or anyone to feel the way I felt at this establishment.

This year i brought white cussion covers that got damaged and what seemed beyond fixing and everyone else gave up on, they took in a did pretty good job. Will keep using this place, like other reviewers noted, very few places in this area that do the dry cleaning. Yes the building is old but the work/service they do is good. I also noticed that other reviwer here pretty much bunched up the business he was upset with and other businesses all together to say that "St Lawrence county is backwards" etc. Well to that I have to say is, it's sad he and others had bad experience with this place but also bunching up all the businesses in this area and call them backwards is very unfair. I am not native to this place by any means, however have dealt with plenty of local businesses that thrive to go above and beyond for their customers and do their job with high level of integrity and passion for what they do. Perhaps traveling around the world makes one be a bit more reserved when it comes to making statements about something being "backwards" vs having poor customer experience and stating "i have never seen anything this bad" based on the review itself, while i can understand that experience was terrible, i can guarantee you, that wasn't the worst you'll see in your lifetime, just travel long enough and far enough, perhaps also stay away from generalising the whole area becasue you had a few bad experiences.

That I must have put cologne or some other material that bleached it out. And the tough luck attitude was written all over his face. This place has no concept of customer service. I made a trip to Malone today from Lake Placid to pick up a few things. I decided to bring along my…read moreking and queen comforters to see if there was a laundromat I could wash them in as my washer and dryer in my house isn't big enough. I googled laundromats in Malone and three popped up, but one was closed and the reviews for East End Laundry were pretty good so I chose to do it here. What an amazing experience, the place was immaculate. The machines were beautiful and worked really well getting my comforters, nice and clean and dried quickly. I had never seen dryers that rotated clockwise for a couple minutes and then reversed counterclockwise to keep your laundry from just turning into a ball. The whole ambience of the laundromat was a great experience...the comfy chairs, the blue stools next to the folding tables,the clean bathrooms, the TVs. I even noticed how beautiful the floors were. I was a professional figure skater and was on tour for 10 years on the road throughout North America and had to do my laundry while on the road in laundromats. East End Laundry is the nicest laundromat I've ever been in. Lake Placid should take notes... I made the mistake of going to that laundromat once and I won't go back. Thank you for making a mundane task like doing laundry a great experience! 5 Stars!
