pertaining to this specific situation my partner and I go to wash after a headache of a day. we usual go in the morning, today was different. it started off normal and well. After we finished; we see the doors aren't opening. they weren't locked either. the you woman on shift was doing other tasks so to not disturb her we just slide the door open to slip out. no harmful intentions where meant whatsoever. Before we know it she comes out gripping at us like our mother. Due to the fact we didn't inform her that we were leaving. i understand the frustration as she explained people have done this before. she proceeded to comment "do you do this at Walmart when they close?"...heres what I don't understand; they promote them being open 24hrs so doesn't that mean it doesn't close? lastly if there's a different protocol for the night shift when customers are leaving it's as simple as making a sign( I didn't see one). i would also like to add Walmart doesn't promote being open 24/7 and they are sure to put up a sign when closed. respectfully I don't work at said laundry facility so I don't know nor am I a mind reader. instead of taking the extra frustration out on us reasonable steps could've been done to prevent this on her part. Such as informing us knowing she was closing the doors. Others have made same mistake that should transparently show them that customers are unaware of this. I've never had this experience there before, I was so dumbfounded at the fact no care was considered on a realistic standpoint from the customers perspective. To the woman on shift I hope you have/ had the night you deserve with all due respect. I also hope next time how you come off to another person (customer) who made a simple mistake unknowingly is more understanding. I'm sure you wouldn't have liked to be gripped at in the same manner. We responded in silence because being combative was simply not worth our energy. However I will express my negative end experience at this facility on the night shift. This is a heads up for the people who like to wash at night. read more
