So, I went to a lovely little dive called "Fubar" last week. What a great place! In true dive bar…read morefashion, the actual bar was made of plywood and crown molding, covered by a thick coating of shellac to make the drinks slide smoothly. It was open mic night, and at the risk of sounding like an old man, the volume was waaaaay too loud in relation to the talent they had. But I digress, I really had a great time. The locals were super friendly, and they were willing to buy me drinks all night in exchange for some of my ADHD medication. On the subject of the bartender: What a sweetheart! Oh and did I mention that there's a stripper pole on the actual bar?!?! Because there is! And the bartender will get on it, climb to the ceiling, and do a free-fall into a split, banging her crotch off the bar with enough force to make it absolutely clear to everyone that it's not the first time she's done that. Overall, one of the best bars in the area in my opinion. The locals weren't too ugly, a few girls were pretty aggressive in giving me their digits, and I was offered a 3 on 1 orgy! Might go there again tonight!

We also happened to be there on a day they had a drum circle so we joined in and had a blast. The second time we stopped in, we sat at the bar for 10 minutes on the Friday before Mother's Day with no service. There was another couple at the other end of the bar with a wine flight so they were definitely open, but no one came out so we left. We're definitely looking forward to visiting again and hopefully we'll be able to enjoy it as much as we did the first time around.
