USA today was good at giving info on what's going on across the country and international as well. I really enjoyed the sports section and it had all the major sports covered . As time went on and more access to news via other outlets especially the internet , online and smartphones , etc, the need for USA today went away gradually. A few days ago I was in a nostalgia mood and notice a bunch of USA today papers along with the other daily newspapers and grabbed one for the memories. Glad I did ,it reminded me of my daily morning routine when I worked in Brooklyn many years ago . Every time I click a link to read a full article it asks me if I want a family subscription or some other type of subscription than I already have. Seeing as I'm logged into my account, if I answer NO, it should not keep asking about the family subscription every time. It also starts requiring me to enter codes due to my subscription being used on " multiple devices".. of course I use it on multiple devices .. my phone, my personal laptop, my work laptop. I'm tired of having to go back and open email to find a code to enter.

One such instance was when there were 2 and 3 blade razors, The Onion ran a headline saying, "F everything, we're doing Five Blades", shortly after Gillette announced the five blade Fusion razor. In 2000, they ran a headline, " Man Consults Internet About Everything ". With AI, etc, it's safe to say that their satire successfully predicted the future. They also ran a satirical headline that said a chocolate company had been ordered to pay "obese Americans" a settlement of $135 Billion. A few years later Nutella was ordered to pay for misleading marketing that made people think Nutella was healthy for them. I personally get a kick out of satire...that is until it becomes reality!
