I've always been extremely happy with how my hair looks afterwards!!! Nicole is awesome at recommending colors and styles, and I always trust her opinion. She definitely prides herself in using quality products, which you can tell the difference with. My hair never feels dry or unhealthy after treatments. If you can't get Nicole, all the other girls do amazing jobs as well!!! The entire staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. I arrived a little early and BRENDA immediately took me to her chair without hesitation. Told her I wanted a fade so she proceeded to cut my hair. She has a very relaxed cutting style, neither too fast or too slow. BRENDA was very personable and pleasant to talk to while getting the haircut. She did a great job and I was very happy and satisfied with the results and the price ($25) wasn't too bad either. Plus it didn't hurt that BRENDA was really pretty! I live in Senior Housing and will gladly refer all my neighbors and friends as this seems to be a really neat place for haircare.

At my consultation, she was incredibly honest and upfront about what it would realistically take to reach my goal. We talked through a plan together, and she explained that going from years of black dye to lighter hair would take time and patience, which I really appreciated. At my first appointment, she started the process with highlights to slowly begin lightening my hair. We achieved a beautiful caramel color that I absolutely love and that suits me really well while we continue the process of going lighter over time. My hair is also feeling healthy and not over processed after lightening, which was one of the things I worried about. She also gave me a haircut, which was a big deal for me because I haven't trusted anyone to cut my hair in years after a bad experience. Melissa really listened to what I wanted and gave my fine hair long layers that added dimension while still keeping the length I wanted. I had a WONDERFUL experience with A Hair Story Salon leading up to and on my wedding day. I needed two hairstylists who could travel on-site for the big day to complete hair for me, all six of my bridesmaids, and my two nieces. Tara and Mandi stepped up to the plate and the rest is history! I travelled to the salon in Fall River for my hair trial and was impressed with the setup they have going on there. Very clean, very professional. Space for my mom to sit nearby to help provide feedback to land on the hairstyle I was looking for. Tara walked me through the process and gave me some tips to best prepare my hair for the actual day. The morning of the wedding, Tara and Mandi were prompt and prepared and got to work right away. In the blink of an eye, everyone was done and looked fabulous! Both were very patient with me as I fretted over a few details of the final look.
