Is it still the best option to both buy and sell used games/movies/books/cds for a fair price in person. Without a doubt. Warning: it is way too easy to spend tooooo much money here. You've been warned. Last Stop is Sioux Falls' answer to Amoeba. This is a great place to find music across all genres. They have an extensive used selection, and I think they pay the best prices for your used media. The people working here are friendly and knowledgeable, and generally too busy to hover over you as you browse. :) They are all true music lovers who will give you great recommendations...but at the same time, they're not snobby. They won't blink an eye if you buy, say, a Def Leppard CD along with your Whiskeytown and Fleet Foxes (um, not that I would know. Gulp.). The new east 10th location is spacious, and I'm diggin' the coffee bar they added. I attended their annual 1/2 off sale for the first time this year and it was INSANE--yet there were still good things to be found when I showed up in the late afternoon. This place is a rip off. I bought an xbox 360 there - came with a 90 day warranty. It didn't work right from the first day I bought it. I called and told them and they said to bring it in and they will switch it but they didn't have any more on hand at that time. I called back every week and they said they still don't have any to switch out. I took the defective xbox back just to get a refund and they said the serial numbers don't match the reciept. They said this xbox had never been through their system. My suspicion is that they knew this xbox was bad when they sold it to me and put in different serial number so I couldn't bring it back. I won't ever go back there and I will write all the negative reviews that I can and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

This used to be my favorite music store in the entire state (hence 2 stars instead of 1). I live in Rapid City, but I used to make a point of shopping here every time I was in Sioux Falls. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I will be making the effort anymore. I stopped in on a recent trip and purchased season 3 of one of my favorite TV shows. Several days after arriving home, I wanted to watch the show and, while the jacket says season 3, the case and DVDs inside are for season 4. I called Last Stop to see if I could exchange or return it next time I am in Sioux Falls, even though I no longer have the receipt (which was likely tossed while cleaning out the car after the most recent trip). They said that without the receipt I could not return it, and that it is unlikely I could even sell it back to them, since the jacket doesn't match the DVDs. All I want is for them to fix their mistake of packaging their wares incorrectly, but evidently now I am stuck with a set of DVDs I don't want and no recompense. Shop here at your own risk. read more
