The fuel station was out of Hy-Vee perks cards, so one of the employees - presumably the manager - went up to the main grocery store to grab some more, specifically for me. This same employee insisted on cleaning out the mug that I had purchased for me, and asked if there was anything else he could do to help. I then purchased E85 without incident. Hy-Vee is nowhere near my home in Lansing, Michigan, but boy I wish they were. I was very thankful, and thanked the employee several times - he insisted that its just what Hy-Vee does, and he was very modest about it. Unless they drop E85, I will be stopping by here to get fuel and coffee next time I'm out in Iowa.

Took our selection back out to the vehicle, We picked up a couple different sauces, but only ended up using one. Got my little fingers on a chicken tender and my jaw dropped. This one piece I picked up was no joke. She thick! As my husband devoured a couple of these monsters, I filled up on ONE! We enjoyed what we had and brought the rest home. The gentleman at the front counter greeted me when I walked in and asked me if I needed any help. Just looking right now. It's a nice little shop. When we were visiting he said they'd only been open around three months or so. It's a small space and they have a smaller selection. Normal shelfers mostly, but they do have some allocated bottles too. As far as prices they are a couple dollars higher on the normal shelf stock compared to other nearby liquor stores. This is to be expected being a newer mom and pop shop. They can't buy in the volumes needed to get the deep buying discounts. I'll definitely be swinging in here when I'm in the area and keeping an eye on the stock.
