I was looking to have our guns shipped from Alaska to Alabama. My dealer in Alaska was more than happy and easy to deal with in facilitating my weapons being shipped to Last Resort. Last resort was so rude to me and refused to help me with this process. They said they first needed to be contacted by the dealership in Alaska before helping me. I thought that maybe bc I am a woman, thatmaybe they were being discriminatory or treating me different due to this. I chose to overlook it (to prioritize necessities over politics, in this instance) and continue with the process so I can receive my weapons. Nope, these people are simply rude. I had my gun dealer in Alaska contact Last Resort Guns. The Alaska dealers called me right back and said they will never work with Last Resort Guns. They were so rude to another gun dealer and myself as a woman, that I want everyone to know; my three interactions with them were disgusting. And the one single interaction my gun dealer in Alaska had with this shop, left them refusing to ever do business with these people (which is wild considering they are THE ONLY choice in that Alaskan region. LRG just alienated a huge state region to no longer deal with...) Do not call these people, use them for any reason or patronize this place. My husband inherited his father's firearms who once served in Korea. My husband worked as Millwright -Optical Tech, recently retired and diagnosed CA. He is in wheelchair , went to your store despite of distance and his Condition. Had a very odd occurance yesterday. I have cancer And the doctor said I cannot go to the range anymore. I decided to clean out my gun safe since I wouldn't be needing guns anymore. I called last resort and asked if they bought firearms and the person I spoke to assu me that they did. My wife loaded all the guns in the car (I'm confined to a wheelchair and cant walk) then she loaded me. (long painfull process) we drive all the way from Tennessee state line and enter the store only to be informed that they are not currently buying guns. Went here with my White German Shepard. She is welcome at every pawn shop / gun shop in the Huntsville area. Mainly because I control her, I am respectful and she is very sweet. That being said, the "lady" at the counter stopped us as we entered the building. "Unless that's a service dog, it's not allowed." I respectfully complied and left. Before I left, I noticed nasty dirty 30 year old carpet, meager inventory and inflated prices. Larry's pistol and pawn is about 7 minutes from here. Went to use the indoor shooting range at Last Resort today. The guy behind the counter happily took my money and assigned me a lane. Turns out the air conditioning in the bays was not working but he neglected to tell me that on a 98 degree day. When I asked if I could try another bay, I was told I could not. Tried to make the best of it, but after less than 10 minutes the sweat from my forehead was dripping down onto my safety glasses so that in addition to being dangerously hot, I couldn't really establish a good site picture. Packed up my things, went back to the counter expecting some level of customer service but was sorely disappointed. When I suggested a refund was in order, the response was, "we called our HVAC guy, that's all we can do". GO ELSEWHERE FOLKS!! read more

my boyfriend walked in here with a gun (unloaded) and have had 3 people draw on him, then was verbally attacked by an employee who didn't look a day over 17, so walked to the range. the attendants wouldn't let us back because we disclosed we'd both been committed to mental health institutions so we had to blow our way in there. and not how you'd think. afterwards my boyfriend was looking for the new nerf dart blaster 9000 and they were out of stock. in other words, going here should be your absolute LAST RESORT. read more

Fudd range. TLDR : this range won't let you shoot at a rate that allows you to do things like bill drills or Mozambique drills. Young red headed RSO with bald spot (sorry that's the only way to describe him as I didn't get his name) that was working on 9/3/23, yanked my shoulder VERY HARD while I was shooting, for firing at the same rate that I had been firing for the last hour after he swapped in for the previous RSO. He then proceeded to tell me I was shooting way too close and shooting the ceiling, making sparks fly everywhere (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that.) Then, proceeded to talk to other customers, saying that I am the first person he has ever saw do that. When I questioned him on why he was just then saying something when I had been shooting that way before he got in there, as well as every other time I've shot there, he told me that the range is a "big organization but all of the RSO's have different rules." read more

I was less than happy with my experience but I understand the problem didn't originate there. I ordered a Sig P320 Carry online and paid for it. I had no experience with the particular pistol and once I picked the one up I ordered and got it home I saw that it was a P320 Compact and not the Carry model. I spoke with staff there and discovered that the online description showed the photo of the incorrect model. They shipped the gun I ordered from the website. The owner offered to make it right but I told him I would keep the one I had and was happy with it. read more

My wife and I have been shooting at the range now at fairly regular intervals over the year and have always been treated courteously by the counter staff and range staff. On the range, the attendants have been helpful in improving both our form and observing the proper safety protocol. We recently took the Intro to Tactical shooting course and it was a blast! Totally different from the usual range shooting and the instructor was friendly, helpful, AND importantly, strict with safety rules. One person in the group was politely asked to leave the class after violating a major safety rule in keeping the firearm pointed in the safe direction. I hope the person ejected was appreciative of the fact it is safety for all. I recommend to anyone as fair as range shooting and class quality and affordability. read more

The thought of writing a comprehensive review of the experience my wife and I had at Last Resort Guns makes me tired. Bottom line up front: STAY AWAY from LRG, especially when it comes to FFL transfers. Their fee is ridiculously high and they make up the ATF rules as they go along. My wife and I recently joined LRG and completed their 3.5 hour Practical Concealed Carry Course. It was excellent! David Escobedo, their CCL instructor, provided us with an informative classroom session followed by a series of practical range live fire exercises. As a retired Army veteran that's been to numerous ranges across the country, LRG definitely stands out as a safe range that is well equipped, managed and supported by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. They also host several different types of events that attract various types of shooters to advance their learning and shooting experience. I highly recommend them. Last resort.....fitting because this would be my last resort to go to. I went to try a new glock. In the firing range, I, as well as my dad, were treated like we were completely incompetent when we had a question about the gun. The advisor was buddy buddy with people he knew but treated me like I was so dumb, that I finally was just ready to leave. I'm sorry but you're there to advise. At one point I heard him walk over to another advisor and make fun of my party. I'm not a fan of going to an establishment and treated like I'm uneducated and stupid. It's not my fault I'm trying to learn a weapon the proper way. read more
