I want to shout out to the most amazing community resource and truly Godly people in Marion VA!…read more Yesterday a man came into our Community Connections office literally with no SHOES on his feet directly from Sparta NC. He spoke little English and needed help. Our office manager Brittany Kell and Program Manager Shane Farris took him to Helping Hands thrift store in downtown Marion and not only did they help him with clothing -they fed him, found translators to speak with him and helped him to get home to NJ. These women are truly literally doing God's work. Pls shop there, donate clothing etc there and, if you are able, make a monetary donation. This is what Marion should be known for. The beauty of the area and the beautiful people whose hearts and love make this a place to be proud of!

There is a decent amount of jewelry, kitchen items, holiday decor, and clothes (upstairs). The coffee shop downstairs is also a nice touch to the store-I recommend stopping in there first and drinking your coffee as you shop. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to locate. It's unique and separate from the rest of historic downtown West Jefferson which makes it an easy recommendation to anyone looking for gifts.

This place is a little ways away from most of "the action", has plentiful on-site parking, and combines coffee shop + bakery + general store in one location. The store is relatively new to West Jefferson and opened within the last few years. It's family owned and operated, and the staff members who were working on the day of my visit could not have been lovelier. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars is because I felt like the selection of merchandise in the general store was not as eclectic as most general stores I've visited. The majority of the merchandise either fell into what felt like a "live, laugh, love" version of a feminine / children's esthetic, or was downstairs in a section literally called "the man cave". With so many amazing local merchants and artists throughout the West Jefferson community, it would have been nice to see a few more options that fell between these two groups and were maybe a bit more neutral. While I very much enjoyed exploring the store and looking through everything, when it came time to actually purchase something for myself or to use as a gift, I really couldn't settle on anything that would be a good fit.

I called Dad to have him call in the prescription then it would be the first stop when we hit town. The pharmacist and staff were very kind and helpful. They worked with my insurance to make sure it was covered -- all with a smile and no sense of being put out. Small town pharmacies are great ... I wish we had this type of service in Los Angeles.

Neither has anything on these Bad Boy Rogue mowers. The decks are 3 gauge solid steel, big Kawasaki engines, big pumps and motors, super advanced suspension system all the way around, and a way better price than the Scag or eXmarks in the same class based on my experience and research. Jonathan at Abingdon equipment took great care of me from a price standpoint. Very competitive pricing. I couldn't have gotten close IMO from Scag or eXmark for not even as much mower. They treated me well at Abingdon Equipment. Highly recommended. If you live in the East Tennessee, NC or Western Virginia area, and you are looking for a top notch Commercial Zero Turn, you'd do well to visit Abingdon Equipment and check out the Bad Boy lineup. I also got a very good trade value on my eXmark Lazer Z X which is why I left with 2 Rogues. The Rogue is WAY more mower than my Lazer Z X that I traded in. Frankly, it's not even close with the Rogue having a WAY thicker Deck, bigger pumps, way more engine. It's not even close.
