The pedicure was the worst I've ever had. Huge waste of money. The tech did not give a good massage and paid the price to receive the best pedi possible. The tech was very kind but customers pay good money for a relaxing massage and pedi. The whole experience was just not at all what I expected. Never again will I visit this location for a pedi. Do not waste your money here. Another thing I noticed is they do not sanitize the tools that they use for the pedicure, nail clippers, nail bed pushers. I've been here many times over the past four years since it's one of the only places near where I live. I made an appointment today for 11:30 and then was told I came late and that they had booked my appointment for 10:30 which can't be true since that's the time I came in to book the appointment before driving back. Honestly I'm a little glad, you never get the color you ask for, it's never quite right. I think over all the thickness has been good and the acrylics aren't bad but I'm never coming here again due to poor service and management. I went in to get waxed as a walk in and got my face waxed so then she says eyebrows I said no thanks I'm scared but it was to late she had just started anyway after my face so I wanted to show a picture of how I like my eyebrows and the lady told me if you don't like them you don't have to come back, I've been doing brows over 30 plus years don't worry told me that I was just to picky. Very clean and professional. Great work. I got a feel manicure and a classic spa pedicure. The owner was there with one other woman and they were very nice. I would like to add that after the last two visits, when getting a spa pedicure, even when paying extra for the special pedicure with "extended massage," she barely massaged at all. And when she did the stones, she rubbed it only across the front of my shins which was painful, and did not rub at all the calf muscles. I was disappointed to have paid extra for this. I would kindly suggest that they put a little more effort and care into the spa pedicures. In addition, I did not get any massage with the manicure either. This is something that people generally look forward to. I think I will check out another nail spa next time. read more

I live in two different places and don't have time to always get my nails done. When I was down south I found out about nail dipping powder and so I ordered a kit and doing it myself now. I decided to go into Lassen nails and get the product off my fingers and get a manicure. As she is taking the product off it's not exactly an easy process she makes a statement to me saying she wished she had said no to me that she could be relaxing instead of doing my nails. When finished she asked if it looked ok as far as getting the product off my fingers. I said yes ,she said that'll be twenty bucks. She didn't do my cuticles she didn't file the nail down and get them all smooth and rounded. I will never patronize this place ever again.!!!!!! read more

Great place always clean. Sweet people. I saw a previous post about a kid getting yelled at. A salon is not a day care for children with no manners or supervision. I went in today for a fill and I was very upset to the point of screaming!! my nails are haggard to un fixable. I never in my life gone somewhere that I have left so upset I had told the lady they were uneven and that I did not like them so she filed some more to the point of no return I now have paid $40.00 for a fill/gel polish that I hate! I have a question why does someone that says they have been doing nails for 25 plus years suck so bad? Danny and Kathy are wonderful. My mom and I have tried other nail salons in town and there's just no comparison! Kathy is AMAZING at pedicures and eye brow waxing. (I have very sensitive skin and I usually break out when I get waxed at salons, but the way Kathy does it, I don't break out and she always gets the line absolutely perfect!) both Kathy and Danny are very personable and make us feel so welcome. There have been countless times that I've had to make an appointment at last minute, and they always have managed to fit me in. I can tell that they take pride in their work. I usually get gell nails, but I've just started getting acrylic nails done, and they do such a great job. I realize I'm on the verge of ranting, but I just love them so much! If you're looking for a great nail salon to go to, I would HIGHLY recommend Lassen Nail Spa. They truly make you feel like family. read more

I walked in to schedule a pedicure, they told me they are booked for next 2 days and did not even bother with offering to book an appointment for a later date. Most unprofessional business I've ever been too!Went in with my Mom for a birthday pedicure. They said they could only do one of us, so my Mom bought me a gift certificate. After she paid with her Visa card the man who was doing a manicure said he had a cancelation and they could do both of us. My Mom and I thought this was strange but went with it. The one woman did both of our pedicures, so they lied to us. When it was time to pay the man told my Mom she could NOT pay with the same Visa card she bought my gift certificate with because he didn't have the password to the Visa machine. He demanded she go to the bank. She's from out of town and her bank isn't here. He then demanded I go to the bank for the money. If there was an option for 1/2 a star, this place wouldn't even deserve it. I usually get my nails done in Reno, because let's be honest the ville is probably the last place I want to do any "beauty" treatments in. So, out of desperation, I came here considering the reviews were decent (loosely going to use that word) and to my surprise I have never felt so unwanted by a company in my life. I came in and was not greeted by the two people doing nails although the sign flashes "Walks in welcome!". After about 20 seconds of me standing there like a dumb shit, I ask if they do gel. The man who is bald with glasses asks if I am doing it on my natural or acrylic nails and I reply it's my natural nails and that I just need 3 nails fixed. I go on to mention I am not sure if they'd have the color I need, and proceed to look at the billions of colors on the wall. He replies with, "we have no time", and I reply with "oh, okay, am I not allowed to wait?". SILENCE, that is what I get. I respond, "hello?" Silence again. What the fuck is my thought? I am used to nail salons wanting the almighty dollar and this place was eager to get me out there. I have no where else to be, it's Susanville, I didn't mind waiting! I know there a lot of women in this town and I strongly suggest making the drive to Reno and getting your nails done in a bigger city where people actually want your business. I hope this place doesn't make anyone else feel the way I felt today after being ignored and told there was no time for 3 nails to be fixed. This place doesn't deserve even ONE star!! I specifically showed and told the lady how i wanted my eyebrows done. There is NO shape and extremely uneven! They look like 2 completely different eyebrows. I wouldn't wish these brows on my worst enemy! They are screwed beyond repair, not too mention how rude and inconsiderate the lady was. Not only did she do the worst job I have ever seen, but she didn't even hold the skin making the wax session the most painful and horrible session I've ever experienced.
