The place is very clean, which I think is a plus. Some of the spa places might be a bit ghetto looking, definitely not this one. The staff were very friendly and professional. The staff start off checking my scalp with the machine. Then my massager lead me to the room to prep for session. I believe my massager is Amy. She was really good with my massage. She definitely target my tensed shoulders and trying to break the knots. I really enjoyed that massage. After my 1hr massage, I was asked to sit up while she quickly transform the massage bed to a head spa bed. I thought that was pretty cool because I don't have to get out of the bed and wrap myself around and walk from room to room. The head spa was a little different than my other experience. I believe because Mulan head spa actually use Chinese herbal tea to soak your hair and scalp. I end up falling asleep in and out during my head spa. I'm not sure if it's the Chinese herbal tea or their hair product they use, but after that head spa, my hair feels silky smooth for days! And way less hair knots I get. I do highly recommend trying this place out, especially for their massage. Surely ask for their membership or group packages to get a better deal for your spa.

There is a slight curl, but that's it. I ended up with a really red eye for two days after the second time. The first time there was no head or neck massage. The second time there was, so that was a nice added touch. I might give them another chance to see if I can get the same results as the first time. I feel as though I wasted $95 for the second time; that was the price with the tip.

Seriously in need of a change in salons and hair philosophy I wanted to try someone different so I took fellow Yelper Sari Marissa G's suggestion of trying TNT. So glad I did because she was spot on in her review and in the suggestions she gave me about trying TNT. The salon is right off of Bustleton Avenue and you may drive right by it because it's on the second floor. But once you find it there's plenty of parking in the back and some out front. The salon is really pretty and set up well. Separate areas are set up for shampoo, coloring and styling. I actually like that. Not being stuck in one place for a couple of hours while The coloring process takes place. Everyone there was very friendly and it seems like a happy place to work. Trish my stylist has been with them many years and I must say the way she worked on my hair she impressed me as being an artist in her chosen field. She took the time to listen to my hair concerns about what I wanted to accomplish, what I had done in the past and how I needed a bit of a change. We talked back-and-forth about what to do and I really felt confident that I would be happy in the end. One thing that I really loved about Trish was she really took the time when coloring my hair, separating the strands and applying the color and foils for my highlights. I have been to a few other places where the stuff was just kind of slapped on. Not here. It was just a very pleasant experience. She showed me a better way of applying mousse and working it through and I watched her as she took the time to style my hair. She did A really fantastic job and I left there with a great cut and style and beautiful highlights. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the shampoo was one of the best I've gotten in my life. Lucy did a fabulous job there too. So on my way home I hit that inevitable cluster that is I 95 south at rush-hour and it took me an hour and five minutes to get home. I like TNT so much that it will not prevent me from coming back to see Trish again. I'll just get an earlier appointment next time.

When I reached out with concerns and asked about correcting the issue, I felt my concerns were not adequately addressed. Instead of discussing dissolving or correcting the unevenness, ( which btw Miranda mentioned dissolving wasn't needed ) I was advised to consider additional filler, which was disappointing given that my concern was the existing result. If the imbalance was due to the procedure i feel it needed to be corrected professionally! What frustrated me most was the lack of follow-up communication after I expressed my concerns. I expected more support and guidance after the procedure. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to ask detailed questions about correction policies and follow-up care before proceeding with treatment. This place is THE ABSOLUTE BEST…read more I started seeing Rachel in 2011 or 2012 and she always did a phenomenal job. After a few years I moved around and have seen a LOT of eyelash extension providers. It's hard to know who the best people are so whenever possible I go to the Novalash website to see if there are any trained people in the area (and I'm pretty sure Rachel gave me that tip). I've noticed that the best people always come from Novalash (Viva La Lashes - check), don't start sessions by telling you how terrible your last place was (Viva La Lashes - check), and start with the novel idea of asking you what you'd like (Viva La Lashes - check). Besides that, I've always been SO HAPPY with how I look when I come out. My lashes are full, not unnaturally long, and they're done quickly. Rachel (the owner) is awesome. She does beautiful work, is fast, and is really nice. Jenn is also incredible! She really works hard to make sure that every lash is touched up and they look full and beautiful. I worked with her for months and EVERY TIME I went in she double checked to make sure that I wanted the same look I got last time. I've been traveling for the past few months and miss her a ton! They're also both great people. I've only worked with Brooke once when she first started there, but from what I remember she was great too. You really can't go wrong - Rachel vets people well and cares about quality. If you want your eyelashes to look fabulous, this is your spot.
