I tried to schedule classics and she told me I needed hybrids so I switched my Groupon to pay more for the hybrid. I accidentally slept through my my appt as i tried to make it at 8 am and she charged me $56 but when I try to text her about stil l making a appt to use the remaining Groupon . I know I made an oops but I still needed the appt bc I had the voucher still. I work somewhere we charge people for missed appointments but our owner always gives the money back if the client says they are coming back or has a conversation with the owner. I'm frustrated and left feeling annoyed by lack of response from Rita about the charge. The whole experience had me reading her reviews and now I'm glad I guess I didn't go to her. I found this small business owner on Groupon and decided to give it a try, but personally, I wouldn't recommend it to others. While Rita did an okay job, the location and the services felt unprofessional. Since it was my first time, and my eyes were closed, it would have been helpful if she had communicated what she was doing throughout the process. Instead, I was left in silence for several minutes while she used her phone to talk to others. I just moved down here from NY and looking for new lashes place so I decided to try lashes by Rita but I am so regret She was very forceful in asking me to write down my credit card information on her form , something I refused to do ! Located obscurely in a chiropractic office, this hidden gem is something I only wish I found sooner. Rita makes you so comfortable and is so easy to talk to. Then as she started applying my lashes, I literally fell asleep. Such an amazing experience as a mom of two young children, only to wake up to another good conversation and fantastically perfect lashes. I will refer her again and again to everyone I know. If I was able to not give a star I would for many reasons. I did have a pre set appointment today with Rita. Although I was running late to my appointment due to circumstances out of my control, I did reach out via text and did not get a response back. When I did get to establishment which was very weird as there was no signage of a lash salon anywhere on the premises. it's an old chiropractor office. I was turned away saying there wasn't enough time for my appt . I also observed another person who just finished getting lashes done come out at the same time. I was double booked with another person and unfortunately had to pay the price. I would proceed with caution when purchasing a Groupon through this establishment. I will find another reputable place and will take my business elsewhere. Luckily there are many to choose from. read more

BEWARE OF LASHES BY RITA My experience with Rita was terrible, and it seems you get what you pay for. To start, I had difficulty locating the establishment as the sign outside indicated a chiropractor's office. Upon entering, there was no one in the front lobby despite the open door and muffled conversations inside. My scheduled appointment was at 10:45 am, but she didn't see me until 11:15 am. She was very forceful in asking me to write down my credit card information on her form, something I refused to do, especially since I had already provided my credit card information during the appointment booking. I had booked a full classic set, but she treated me as if I didn't understand the concept and completed the job in just one hour, whereas it usually takes a good two hours for a full classic set. Her work was sloppy, and she didn't even bother cleaning my eyelashes, leaving leftover glue from my fake eyelashes. When I opened my eyes, the pain was intense. She handed me a fan, instructing me to hold it, which seemed bizarre and unprofessional. After four days, my eyes were still in pain, and when I contacted Rita, she blamed me for putting on makeup and became defensive. Despite following the recommended guidelines of not touching my eyelashes for 48 hours, my eyes were hurting badly, and they were swollen from whatever she applied to my eyelashes.
