I am drinking water but look at this beautiful glass
Areej A.

I don't drink alcohol for religious reasons as well I am truly allergic. But I went to an event at this place. I think we met the owner if I am not mistaken. She was such a sweetheart and didn't made me feel awkward as it's a wine tasting event and here is me not tasting anything . She gave me a water bottle with the same glasses everyone is using. She kept her smile and her cool throughout the whole event. The chocolate has alcohol and I didn't know so I did eat one of them and holy moly that was good. I did feel funny bubbles in my head as I never drink lol. I wish they have the same chocolate without alcohol cuz that was so good. It's definitely a cute winery for like a small party as you can't fit a lot of people there. But I am sure everyone will have fun :-) Thank you so much for having us and making me feel comfortable!

Wine flight for this evening

I was here for a wine tasting and chocolate pairing Yelp event. The place was easy to locate by following Maps. The only thing is, if you never been on this street to any of the wineries and you check it out at night you might think you're in the wrong place because suddenly you find lots of warehouses which as it turns out is where there are a bunch of wineries ! You learn something new every day! Plenty of free parking just outside the winery, which is a small and simple place (few high chair tables). I think a few touches could be added here and there to give it a cozier feel. Nicole, the owner, is very sweet and approachable! I enjoyed listening to her. And she was generous to pour us a bonus wine of our choice. Thank you! I did find the bottles a little bit more on the expensive side (e.g. Chardonnay was priced at $36). I never tried chocolate and wine in this way before and I must say the experience was quite fun! Thanks Alexa for another awesome Yelp event :) cheers to 2024

Black Woman-Owned Winery Alert!!! This was a great experience that we were able to schedule a tasting with this winery and speak directly with the owner. She was informative about the history of this winery and the winemaking process. It was a very wonderful experience if you are about supporting black businesses and you love wine make sure you check out this winery. Heck, even if you don't like wine, this is a great opportunity to give someone a gift from a black woman owned business.

Enjoyed the Riesling at home too!!

We purchased two bottles on a recent visit- a 2019 Cabernet and 2022 Riesling. LaShelle (Nicole) was very friendly and made sure to check on us if we needed anything. The Cabernet was very fruit forward, smooth, nice taste and the Riesling had a more citrus taste than most of my typical likes for white wines but somehow it just works and it's quite smooth. The atmosphere is pretty chill and it was interesting to hear the story behind the business. Being the only female black owned winery business in the area we wanted to check it out to see what wines they were offering. They also had a Chardonnay that was tasty- and I'm not a Chardonnay girl typically bc it's drier and less sweet than I like whites but somehow it was a nice surprise. We took the two bottles home and continued to enjoy them. Give LaShelle a try and support this local female business!!!

Came across this winery from a Yelp event. The host goes by the name Lashelle and she is an example for women empowerment. I liked the service - they also have wine made chocolates. Personally I liked Merlot and Cab the most.

Really enjoyed talking to the wine maker, all the whites that we tried were delightful. Very soft, easy drinking wines. Recommend!

The tasting room has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and makes for an easy Woodinville stop when you want to sit down and enjoy a tasting or a glass of wine. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our experience was made significantly better by how warm, attentive and genuinely hospitable the team was. It's one thing to enjoy the wine, but exceptional service is what turns somewhere you enjoyed into somewhere you actually want to return to. Another thing worth knowing: Matthews also offers offsite events and tastings, which is such a great option if you want to bring the experience to a private event rather than hosting everything onsite. There were a few little things about the overall experience that probably would have landed Matthews at a 4/5 for me, but the hospitality completely won me over. Great wine and welcoming hospitality will get me back every time.

As someone who was raised by a distributer employed by a company out of Napa, I have a fairly broad experience with wine, and my friend was an associate at Total Wine for years so we came in feeling like we would be able to enjoy this! We were hosted by Laurent, and essentially ended up in a private tasting, as it was just me and my friend in the library. This meant an incredibly intimate tasting with an extremely knowledgeable Laurent, and I'm proud to say that we impressed him! I learned so much about how to taste and identify different aspects of wine, and love that I got to take home a bottle of my favorite as part of the challenge. If you want a quieter, more intimate experience where you can challenge your palette and bask in the awe of an experienced sommalier, the Black Glass Challenge is for you.

We ended up spending the most here... Bought too many bottles and at $50 a bottle! Then we also had dinner and two wine tastings. Ambiance - A beautiful location. Again, the best of all the wineries we visited on this trip. A huge location. See my pictures. Beautiful, clean, modern, etc. See pictures. 4 floors, generous enough to let us have the 4th floor outdoor patio for our tasting (but the 4th floor tasting team did not seem to appreciate it). This probably would have been a 5 star visit if we stayed on the first floor outdoor patio. Plenty of private parking. Service - As first time customers, the best service was when we checked in at the winery thinking it was the restaurant. And because we got here early, she offered us a few samples of their signature D2 wines. So welcoming and generous. Too bad the restaurant and our tasting here after dinner was NOT as good. Wine education classes available; see their website. Price - $221 + tip. This does NOT include dinner we had next door. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1992 and at all your locations. I am a loyal D2 drinker!

The setting is absolutely gorgeous--one of those places that feels magical once the sun starts to set. The décor, atmosphere, and overall attention to detail created a wonderful experience for our group. The live music was lovely and so much fun. It truly brought the spirit of Mamma Mia to life and made the entire evening feel festive, joyful, and memorable. The Mediterranean food was outstanding: delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. Every course felt thoughtful, and it was clear that a great deal of effort went into creating a full, celebratory dining experience. I also want to acknowledge the winery for reaching out afterward and handling my concern with such unexpected generosity and kindness. Their response meant a great deal and says so much about the people behind the event. It is rare to find a business that genuinely listens, follows up, and goes above and beyond to make things right. This was a beautiful evening with great food, wonderful music, a stunning setting, and truly thoughtful hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this event to anyone considering it next year. Gather a group of friends, enjoy the wine and the scenery, and be prepared for a very special night.
