When I finally came to the appointment, she suddenly told me that she couldn't do the hairstyle, didn't have enough time, and that it would cost a lot more money. I reminded her that I had already sent my hair photos and the reference picture and that she had confirmed she could do it at the agreed price. Instead of taking responsibility, she spoke to me in a very aggressive and disrespectful tone. What made it even worse was that when I left, she didn't even apologize or acknowledge that she had wasted my time. My hairstylist, Dina, gives me the best cut and color of my life. Every time I leave I know that my hair looks the best it can, and my color is gorgeous. My color also consistently fades out in a way that looks intentional between coloring, and remains vibrant for many weeks. I've never been happier with my hair. I've also seen other stylists for blowouts between visits and every stylist has been great. Karla cut my niece's hair and was wonderful with her. You can book online, and you can text with the receptionist if you have to change your appointment which is great. The only downside is that there's no dedicated parking, which isn't their fault and I've never had a problem. Just be careful if you go on a street sweeping day.

Extremely Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty -- $400 for Botched Hair…read more I had my hair done by Christina Green at Beauty Beach Lounge on Friday, October 2, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. I've been going to Christina for a few years, and despite her services being pricey, I continued to book with her because I trusted her and had been happy with my previous appointments. This experience completely changed that. I paid $400 for a base color, a haircut, and a quick conditioning treatment. I left without a blow-dry, so I didn't even get the full salon experience you would typically expect at that price point. The results were absolutely not what we discussed or agreed upon. My hair was supposed to be blonde, with a slightly warmer base, but instead, it turned out orange/ginger, uneven, and patchy. I even tried purple toning shampoo afterward, and it did nothing to fix the color. The haircut was equally disappointing. I specifically asked for my hair to be cut around the base of my breasts, but Christina cut it significantly shorter than I requested, and the cut is visibly uneven. Hair color can be corrected to some extent, but I can't magically grow back the length of my hair. I've been trying to grow my hair out, and having so much length taken off against my wishes is incredibly upsetting. What makes this even worse is the timing. My sister's wedding is coming up, and instead of feeling excited and confident, I'm dealing with significant anxiety over how my hair looks and scrambling to find someone who can fix the color with very little time to spare. I'm now facing the additional stress and expense of correcting a $400 service that should have been done properly in the first place. I also felt that my appointment was rushed, and the overall result reflected that. After years of being a loyal client, I expected more care, attention to detail, and communication, especially given the price. I eventually reached out to management myself, only to be told that because I had paid Christina directly through Zelle rather than through the salon's usual payment system, they could not refund me and that only Christina could return the rest of my money. This has been disappointing on every level. Not only am I unhappy with the service, but I've also had to chase people down to get a resolution after being told someone would contact me. After years of loyalty and spending a significant amount of money at this salon, I expected to be treated with much more care and professionalism. I'm sharing my experience because I wish I had known how this appointment would turn out before spending $400. I left with orange, uneven color, a haircut much shorter than I requested, and the added burden of trying to repair the damage before an important family event. I would not return to Christina for another appointment, and I cannot recommend her based on my experience.
