Anywho, I thought I would use on the brow bar at Ulta for a brow tint and wax. Now, I'm very particular about my brows and have been burned by some past "brow waxers". Julie was my stylist and everything was super clean and sanitized. You could tell she knew what she was doing. BTW, it may not matter to most but I appreciate not talking during beauty services. My job involves a lot of talking and I appreciate Julie just being focused on doing her job well and not trying to have a full blown convo with me. We said that was fine as long as her hair wasn't soaking wet and she had curls. The perm was done, I left a 20% tip on my card and we left. She had curls when we left. The next morning she had loose waves so, we used mousse and a diffuser. By day 5, there were no curls at all. The stylist was pleasurable but with what my mom's hair looks like now it's obvious she did not do her perm correctly. So we've wasted $180 on a hairstyle that is no more. I feel like this salon should've had us come in the next day instead of booking same day and basically having a rush job done to ensure they closed on time.
