I have been to many lash salons but Lash L'Amour is head and shoulders above the rest. The salon is clean, classy, and inviting. The technician is knowledgeable and personable. I don't know how she did it but she chose the perfect length and style for my eyes. Make up hasn't been needed since I've gotten my lashes done. I've received so many compliments on their work. I got my lashes done for a bachelorette party. It has been more than 2 weeks and the lashes still look great after all the partying. I look and feel put together because of these lashes. I have never written a review before..Lash L'Amour was recommended by a friend, and I was really looking forward to longer, fuller looking lashes! I received my lashes about 3 weeks ago, and was disappointed the next morning. The lashes were dropping, I was constantly brushing them to keep them from falling. Additionally, when I filled out my paperwork upon arriving I noted that I had sensitive skin, and that I was referred by a friend. No adjustments were made to the serum used, and my eyes were swollen for about 12 hours following the appointment. When I was paying at the end of my appointment, I reminded the studio that I had been referred by a friend. The woman working apologized, and said she forgot to adjust the amount for a referral (there is a discount if referred by a friend). She had to recharge my credit card, and return the other payment I had already made. This took days to reflect back on my account. I was frustrated and felt like I had filled the paperwork out, and it had not been reviewed prior to my appointment. I called and returned to the studio and had them adjusted. It has now been 2 weeks, and I have been caring for them very well, and following all of the instructions. At the end of 2 weeks, the majority of the lashes have fallen out (I believe they were too heavy for my lashes), and I am left with broken lashes and patches where my extensions were. I have had extensions before, and have never had an experience like this. Everyone that works at Lash L'Amour has been kind and friendly, but I now will need to do some major damage control to grow my lashes back, as they look awful now. **after posting this, Lash L'Amour reached out immediately and offered me a discount on services, and apologized for the inconvenience. I have been going to Lash L'Amour for years and was thrilled when the opened in Wellesley! I have been to this location a couple of times and can say the quality and service is just as amazing as the Newton location I used to go to. The lash extensions are truly the best! I had have had people not believe I have extensions because they can't see the attachment point to my real lash and they look so real. The lash artists are very willing to work with you to create the look you want. Any time you go in for a fill you can ask for a different shape or length and they are more than happy to work with you! This place is truly the best when it comes to all things lashes and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! read more

Lash L'Amour goes above and beyond and I am so impressed by them at every visit. Since re-opening after covid they have taken so many pre-cautions to make their guests feel comfortable and protected. From start to finish I felt safe and was amazed at the sanitation procedures. They also set the standard when it comes to lash extensions. My lashes looked better than ever when I left and I am so excited to keep going so I can feel good again after quarantine. I've tried other places in the past and no place compares to this! Disappointed with lash lift and tint results. Upon arriving I told the woman doing my lashes how excited I was to have my long, but very straight lashes curled. She suggested doing more of a 'lift' because a curl would just hit the top of my eyes. I was very clear that I do curl my lashes every day without this happening, but after a few times going back and forth I said I trusted her expertise and we did the 'lift' she suggested. During the appointment she was wonderful and explained each step but in the middle of the appointment my eyelid started burning. It was uncomfortable and I told her this. She assured me there was no possible way there was any of the solution on my eyelid and no one had ever been burned. She checked in with me again a few times throughout the appointment and I told her I was just going to get through it. At the end, she gave me a mirror to show me the results and I was shocked to see no difference in my lashes. I have dark brown hair and my lashes were slightly darker, but were not curled. She said next time we could try a tighter curl. I was very disappointed-- between the service and the tip it was about $150. Upon getting home I tried to clean my eyelid-- with a qtip I figured there was some glue on it, causing the discomfort. There was a small burn on my eyelid. It was small and has healed, but needless to say, a lash lift was not the life changing experience I was hoping for and I will not be returning. I wish Lash L'amour had emailed with some sort of survey about my experience, but I have not been contacted so decided to submit a review here. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came in for a lash lift and tint today and it was completely far from my expectation. I have done this in Shanghai, China and not only is the service there a lot less expensive (40 dollars), the result was very satisfying and it lasted me a good 2 months. Because Lash L'Amour's price is so much more expensive, I would expect an even better result. However, after my session with my technician, I do not so a difference between before and after. In fact, some of my lashes are not lifted and I don't see a darkened color effect. Before my session, my technician told me that the results would be obvious and dramatic. However, when my friends saw my lashes, they all agreed that they did not see a difference either. Even though the people there are nice and offered me to come next time and fix my lashes for free, I would not recommend this place if you want a lash lift... read more
