I explained that I use to get them threaded in CA and she mentioned there were a few places in South Tampa I could try. With her recommendation and my yelp research, I decided to go with Lash Spa. I always make appointments for anything dealing with hair, face, nails, etc. but seeing that Lash Spa was only 3-5 minutes from my house, I just decided to stop by and walk in on my way from Essentials. Walked in...no problem. Aida took such great care of me! She not only threaded my eyebrows but informed me of the option to tint my eyebrows. She says it will last 2 weeks. I had never had this done before so I went for it. I wish I had a before and after (but I have the after) because my eyebrows were a HOT mess. As you can see from the photo, they look great now. Excuse my no make up and slight bags under my eyes as I'm not getting much sleep during my last trimester. I'm happy that I have a new threading spot that's close to home. I will for sure be back. Aida also informed me she does eyelash extensions and considering how short and curly mine are, I think I will give it a try. They had hand sanitizer and aesthetician wore a mask. My experience was wonderful and my face feels great. I spoke to her about eyelash extensions for my daughter and called for an appointment for her today. It does take a few calls to get an appointment, all considering right now, I don't mind. I am glad I stopped by.

I was a little nervous going in but Dina makes sure to walk you through everything ahead of time and prep you, as well as answer any questions you may have. The procedure itself wasn't bad, it took about 2 hours and Dina does everything she can to make sure you are comfortable. As she is measuring things out she checks with you throughout to make sure you're happy with the shape, which is great to have the option to give feedback however I didn't have to because what she traces out was exactly what I was looking for. It was Black Friday where the mall was infiltrated with everyone in town and it was my first time in so I just grabbed a seat amongst the crowded waiting room. Be sure to sign in at the desk to secure your spot in line! They were completely short-staffed with only one woman working. I ended up getting distracted by my work emails, which killed all the time I had sitting there- which was about an hour. On any other day, I'd easily walk out after 20mins, but i wanted to give this place a shot since I was already in the area. Im glad I stuck around as the woman holding down the fort was super kind and apologized for the long wait time. She did a fine job on cleaning my eyebrows which was worth the trip! I originally booked my brow appointment for July 4th. A few days beforehand, the salon contacted me…read moreto let me know they would be closed that day and asked to move my appointment to July 3rd instead. I agreedeven though the change was initiated by the business. Then the day before my rescheduled appointment, they messaged saying my brow artist had a family emergency and that I would be seeing a different artist instead. I didn't see the message until the following morning and therefore never confirmed the change. At that point my appointment had already been changed once because the salon was closing on the original date and now the artist was changing again. Rather than proceed with an appointment that had changed multiple times due to circumstances outside of my control, I decided to cancel. I understand the salon's response will likely be that my appointment date and time remained the same, that they notified me of the artist change and that I canceled within their same day cancellation window. They also explained that their policy allows for a 100% same day cancellation fee and that they only charged me 50% as a courtesy. I don't dispute that they have a cancellation policy. My issue is with how it was applied in this situation. This wasn't a typical last minute cancellation where everything remained as originally booked. The business had already rescheduled my appointment once because they were closing and then changed my artist less than 24 hours before the appointment. I never confirmed that I was comfortable with that change before being charged. Emergencies happen and I don't fault my original brow artist for having a family emergency. My disappointment is with the decision to enforce a cancellation fee despite the multiple changes initiated by the business. In my opinion greater flexibility would have been the fairer approach. I disputed the charge with my bank and chose not to rebook. While I can't speak to the quality of their brow services, I can only review my own experience as a customer and unfortunately it left me disappointed with how the situation was handled.
