    chilaquiles with chicken.

We were here for breakfast only. Can't comment on the night club part. Ok breakfast. I was kinda worried looking at the place what kind of food we would get. Orders a ham and cheese omelet and chilaquiles. Food came out in a reasonable time, it was just ok. Kinda like Dennys. chilaquiles were kinda weird and dry. Omlet was good. Food pretty inexpensive. Can't recommend for lunch - try El Barrio. Best breakfast in Merida

Good food, great prices. It is in the entrance of a hotel but they have their own separate entrance (just go up the stairs to the left). The only minor negative I would say is I am from California and their burritos are really what I would call a wrap. Burritos need to have rice or beans and never have mayonnaise. That said, it was still big and tasted great. Place had a great vine. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I ate here with friends and we all became sick later that day. I could tell that my fries were fried in dirty grease. I would not recommend.

Looked like a very local place. Drinks at a very reasonable price, given that we were at a bar in the centre.

I've never had a sit down meal here but the the main dining area is very nice and there is another section that is open to the sky. Customers are a combination of locals and visitors. It's enchanting at night watching the lighted towers of the old cathedral standing watch over the Merida night sky...sitting at a candle lit table with cool Yucatan breezes blowing. It's a far remove from the hustle and bustle of the narrow, crowded downtown streets and the lively plaza. I ordered a pumpkin seed-based salsa which was prepared table side in a stone vessel. My friend ordered the grilled fish with rice, pickled carrots, onions and sauces. Both were delicious. We also had nice drinks, red wine sangria, and beer. What was perhaps the best feature of the place is the excellent waitstaff who are bilingual, who are helpful with making you feel comfortable, who provide charming conversation and tips, and who are generally well trained in hospitality. Such a far cry from the dour and arrogant wait staff typically found in Washington DC restaurants. This is a good place for a quiet escape from the plaza crowd.
