You can either order at the counter or someone will come take your order at the table. We ordered yuca frita which was just ok. The chicharrón was very dry but the yuca was good. I thought I had already reviewed this restaurant. Oops, So good. Authentic El Salvadoran food. Pupusas are huge and delicious. I liked the bean and cheese the most. Wonderful breakfast menu. We are glad we stopped in, if you don't like El Salvadoran food they also have a variety of traditional Mexican dishes. It's a big place. Really good for big parties. It's right on Sunset and Whitney Ranch. The women are so helpful and courteous. I enjoyed our interaction. We look forward to coming back. read more

Service was good & my to go order was ready on time. Pupusas were okay, beans lacked flavor & had way more cheese than beans but they got the job done. I would give the beans & cheese pupusas a 7/10. read more

I like the food. However, why all the waitresses were eating dinner at the same time? No one available to serve you. Other than that ok read more

I met up with some coworkers here. I saw they had wings so of course I ordered the wings. The wings were decent. They were on the menu so I ordered them. If you're not gonna give 100% on each menu item then remove it from the menu. My buddies ordered some tacos. I traded some wings for a taco and the tacos were actually delicious. I don't know if there's anything about this place that sets it apart from any other taco place, but it was actually good. The restaurant was busy. The restaurant had a good vibe to it. I'll come back here again, but not for the chicken wings. read more

Sick pups as, great huevos rancheros or with chorizo. Really like the sauces. Service. Breads. Beers. Attitudes. Vibes.

Nice little change of pace for a quick dinner. We had dinner there and their service was great. I had probably the best burrito in a long time. It is not a fancy restaurant, but the food was excellent and this will be my go to place for a burrito from now on. read more

I happened to see this business when driving by and had to stop and so glad I did. Walked in and the place was pretty open inside and the staff was very friendly taking your order and promptly fast service. Decided to order some chicken pupusas and these were definitely made to order and probably the biggest pupusas I've had and of course with the cabbage topping just a heat find and especially for $3 each you can't go wrong. read more

Walked in and walked out. The ladies were extremely rude. After 5 mins of not being greeted, I asked if they had a Togo menu. I was told "hold on". Will not be back, it wasn't even that busy. Just rude and miserable read more

Another Las Pupusas! First time at this location and I decided not to get pupusas since it was breakfast hour. The service was very good at this location! Super clean and friendly. I tried their huevos rancheros and their nuegados (like a fried yucca patty with syrup and atole on the side). The huevos rancheros were like a 3/5, very simple but the tortillas that came on the side were 5/5! Super fluffy, hot and fresh. The nuegados were new to me and very good! 5/5, crunchy on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside. It is paired with syrup and plain/unsweetened atole to balance it all out. read more

By far Best Pupusas in town. Great size for the price. Served with generous amount of sauce and curtido.

I'm not sure if there was a recent change in management but this place is NOT what it used to be like! I went in today with my family to sit in and waited a whole hour for our food! I'm the type of person who likes to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt , I understand they're busy. (Not one server came over within that hour plus to apologize or to check on us). Until later our lady server came over and lazily plopped ( Yes, Actually Plopped!) down our plates and walked away hurriedly. My mom even stared at me offended and mentioned that the server might've not been having such a great day apparently. The server NOT even asking if there was anything else we needed or apologized for the long wait. We had four people sitting in our party so we ordered 4 Pupusas yet she only brought over 2 plates (2 Pupusas in each plate) and only 2 forks. -.- You can clearly imagine my frustration so instead of waiting for another hour (or never) for her to come around I stood up and asked for 2 extra plates and forks. I thought the whole experience would've been redeemed by the taste of the Pupusas but I was mistaken. The Pupusas revuelas had about 80% beans and masa. We hardly tasted any pork! Attached is a photo of the curtido we received to-go. What is this!? Where's the onions and carrots in the curtido?! It was 90% cabbage! So saddened by this. That will have to be the last time I take family and friends there. read more

This place is a gem for pupusas! Honestly, I wouldn't have tried this place if it wasn't for driving by and seeing several people walking in. This is definitely one of those local favorite places. The mixed pupusas with refried beans, cheese, and pork is my favorite. They're also pretty big, and I was full with 2. The sour cream is also good to order on the side if you like that with your pupusas. The Carne asada burrito is also delicious, and the meat is super tender and flavorful. The price is also very reasonable for how big the burrito is. The only downside to the burrito is it was quite greasy the second time we ordered it, but it was perfect and delicious the first time. Service is basically nonexistent, and their phone line is soo busy if youre wanting to place a to-go order. You need to go up to the register to ask for anything you need and to pay for the bill. But if you're okay with that and know that beforehand, it might be what you're looking for. read more

Came here specifically for the pupusas. They are actually really cheap for the size that they are. And they are probably the best I've ever had. The slaw and hot sauce that they serve with it just made it taste even more delicious. The service was ok. The lady working the front counter was obviously overworked. She was the waitress , phone order person, cashier , hostess , and busser. And mind you. It was actually a bit busy for 1 person to take care of it all. Thats also why we ended up waiting 15 min or so til we were actually helped. But I get it. They need to get this girl some help. read more

Overall: Came on Sunday around 11:30am. This place is a little hole in the wall that gets pretty busy. They have a pretty blue walls with a few cool decorations on the walls. But the tables and chairs feel like a school cafeteria. This is a super casual restaurant where kind waitresses are hosting. The price are definitely good for the size of the portions. Took a long time for our good, but I'm dures It's because it's their busiest day/shift. Food: The food is great. I expected the Shrimp soup to have big veggies, but the flavor was AMAZING and it came with handmade tortillas! I would really recommend when you are sick because It's so soothing for the throat and belly. The Mux pupusas had a lot of flavor and stuff inside. We loved them! Beverages: I'm Mexican, so I was not so fond about their Horchata. For me, their Horchata taste like cold champurrado. This isn't my favorite but I understand that different cultures make things differently. I would have gotten a soda, but I gave it up for le read more

Went to this place on Monday, walked in looked at the menu, while reviewing the menu u I witnessed a lady making the Pupasas with one glove on talking to the lady at the front counter eating with the hand that was gloved then placed her gloved hand in the mass dough! I was so disgusted turned around to leave when the lady at the counter stopped me and asked me was I ready to order and I told her what I saw then told her I was leaving because that should not be happening. I'll never go back there again!!! read more

This is a very good and unique menu. They offer Salvadoran food AND Mexican. I love the variety of types of food and large portions. Even their smaller ala cart are large enough for average guests. Salvadoran food seems to be less spicy, order Mexican if you want spicier. They offer huge shrimp or octopus cocktails so order before main entree for a special treat! Bon Appetite!! read more
