There is a menu but why order from the menu when you can have Don Carlos feed you whatever he feels you might like? This is the best part of this place, let Don Carlos feed you. I couldn't capture all of the dishes as they kept coming one after another, the meat was grilled to perfection, the baker took her time with every item that came from the oven and the charismatic Don Carlos kept us entertained the entire meal. This cafe is in the opening of the La Boca tourist square. Have a bite and drink before or after doing some shopping. It's not as expensive as most tourist cafes, but it's not cheap either. Food- the beef empanadas were amazing! Try with the house chimichurri. The jamón y queso was okay, but im not a fan of pork so it's preference based. The pulled beef sandwich is so delicious and moist...it's what brought us back for another visit. Finally, dessert...they brought out 5 small desserts which again were nothing to brag about - of the 5, I really only like 2 - the lemon tart and the cream. After sitting, presentation of some delicious bread and a wine list. Avoid the bread. It is amazing, but you will need the room for the 6 courses of deliciousness coming. The wine list is good with a lot of focus goes into the native Malbecs of Argentina, which happen to pair nicely with the entire meal. Each course is even better than the previous, but the steak had to be the best cut of meat I have ever enjoyed.
