This little gem was hidden in the city. Very nice. Once you find the parking and entrance was hidden they have beautiful trees all around the inside and outside seating plenty of shade for hot days. The breakfast is very delicious. I came on a Saturday, so it was quite busy. The servers were distracted with all the clientele but as soon as you call them over for the check, they try to be as speedy as possible. The French toast was amazing! First- it's no longer Las Moras it's now operating as Nueva Navarra. Secondly, the service is horrible. By horrible I mean they don't even seat would be customers but rather turn them away albeit with open tables because of their total lack of organization. And most importantly, it took over 20 minutes just to get a coffee and an hour before I cancelled my food order. The waiter still had the nerve to charge us for the coffee. This place needs management. Turning away would be customers and ignoring the customers that do manage to get inside is not a recipe for success. read more

The ambiance was great. We arrived early in the morning and were greeted by the hosts. I ordered the Cafe Palmera and enjoyed it. The food was cold when it arrived but overall it was okay. I wouldn't come back anymore as their is other places in Leon where the food is more flavorful for a a better price. read more

Thank you Yelp and you considerate people for reviewing this place. I was visiting my grandma in Leon and she took me to mostly terrible restaurants. Also they mentioned everything closed by 7p. I knew that couldn't be the case. I was on a hunt to prove them wrong by finding a nice, Modern restaurant that was open late. Enter Las Moras! When walking into this restaurant you're immediately greeted by a wonderful open air, relaxed and intimate dining room that is surrounded by walls with vegetation. Leon is a concrete jungle and this is a wonderful, naturistic escape from the tiny roads and congestion. The owners clearly had a vision when they designed and built this place. They speak English! Perfect for tourists and gringos. The waitress and the owner who came over to greet us all spoke fluent English. The food was nice, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, deserts. Not Mexican food so don't ask for Menudo! If you're looking for something different and unique this is definitely the place to come. read more

Really cute relaxing place. Instrumental music playing low so you're able to actually hear yourself talk. Food is delicious and for dessert we ordered a Pan de Elote (corn bread)- highly recommended. It's served warm with a little bit of cinnamon and some berries. Service-wise can be improved. several waitresses but it was hard to get their attention. read more

Food was good! We got the chilaquiles! Our waitress Fer was really nice and attentive. The environment is beautiful. It's covered in trees and greenery and there was enough parking on the street.
