The first thing the host said to my friend, son and I when we entered this eatery for dinner was, "I'll let you have the table for an hour, then I need it back". That will tell you everything about this over-priced, loud, arrogant, over-sized bar that pretends to be a restaurant. After being "allowed" to sit at the sticky, cramped table, we ordered drinks ($21 USD for 2 unremarkable martinis) and pondered the menu. We saw no sign of our server for a long time and after trying to hear each other over the high volume of chatter in the place, we decided to save ourselves the time and money clearly not valued by this establishment and spend it on a restaurant around the corner whose service and atmosphere were welcoming and professional. There are many fantastic, high-quality places to spend an evening for dinner in Royal William Yard, so do not waste your time in this one. read more
