There were problems from the start just getting notified of delivery date and time. I was a bit shy of doing business with him after that, but tried to get filters from him. The stock number he gave me for filters was incorrect, so I measured and ordered from Amazon. They fit. I tried again to get the correct stock number from him recently so I could do business locally. Once again it was incorrect and he told me the Amazon ones were wrong (which they weren't). I insisted they fit and the number he gave me was wrong. He insisted I was wrong stating that the floor model that matched mine had the filter he was recommending. Turns out he was wrong. I went in, took the filter with the stock number he recommended and it was not the same as the floor model he had told me matched mine. In an effort to continue to do business with him I suggested he credit me the cost of a couple of filters. He refused since I had not bought from him before. I now go to Spa Tech here in Cruces. They are great, are interested in being helpful and in having my business. Avoid Discount Pools and Spas.

I should have seen the bullshit, but I don't build pools, so what do I know? The project started quickly, within a few weeks they were ready to pour cement; this was in November 2015. They stopped showing up that November. The company wouldn't answer nor return phone calls. We actually drove to Las Cruces (over 3 hours) to meet with them, but no one would take our calls. In July of 2016 we met with a lawyer threatening lawsuit; that got them moving! We finally made head-way with our project, got things rolling again. And then, you guessed it! NOTHING. A year and a half later, we have started ripping everything out of the HOLE in our yard, sucking it up and cutting our loss. We paid this company a small fortune just to have our yard a complete disaster and a load of debt.

This contract was to take six months; it took 13 months to complete. This was very frustrating and disappointing. My communications with the owner Jesus were contentious and argumentative. Communication with Megan were always respectful and cordial. Since the pools completion we could not be happier with the results. The pool looks and functions great. Megans landscaping looks amazing and deserves 10 stars! The installation of the landscaping went very smoothly. Any small issues that have come up (as with any large project) have been handled quickly. The team that worked on the project did a great job! They have been very helpful teaching us about the operation of our equipment. Overall, I can recommend them for the finished product, but I would expect delays. Our pool and yard look amazing, and we are very pleased with the result. Because of Megan Guerra's design and communication I am changing my review to four stars, the only reason I cannot give five stars is because of the delays.
