My wife and I thought the…read moredryer had gone out, but once Jeff got into the wall outlet he found that for some reason the wiring had come loose from the outlet. He probably saved us from having a fire in the house. Then, we were just telling him about some other things we were thinking about having done. We were wanting our hall bathroom remodeled and the old cast iron tub taken out and replaced with a walk-in shower. The next thing you know he is tackling that update. Not only did he do the walk-in shower but he also repainted the bathroom. Then he fixed a bad place in the hall ceiling and painted the hall. But, he wasn't done. He then took down the old laundry room cabinets that were installed in the laundry room when the house was built in the mid 1970s. He repainted the laundry room and installed new flooring for it. Also, the air vent for the dryer was through the wall into the garage. He drilled a hole in the laundry room outside wall and vented the dryer to the outside. He also took care of a couple of other minor things that he thought needed to be done. If you need anything, and I mean anything, done around your house don't hesitate to give him a call. When I decided to get a generator last fall and learned that McNeer was an authorized installer for Generac, it was a no brainer. I called them. McNeer installed my generator and I was very pleased. I needed to have the circuit breaker for my bathroom heater replaced. I also wanted to change the time that the generator did its weekly self-test. I was happy that I was able to get it all done in one service visit. Tanner and Tristan were great. Tanner ran a diagnostic test on my bathroom heater to be sure that it was not blowing the circuit breaker. It was not broken. It just needed a new light bulb. They took care of that. Tristan changed the time for the generator self test.

We had Ed's Electric change out one plugin and one light switch in out master bath. We are having…read moreour vanity and cabinets changed and asked him to leave the old electric spaces open so cabinets could set flush with wall. He did do this, however, when we had the cabinet installer in he checked the electric spaces and found that not only did he leave 120 volts of electric in them he did not put wire nuts on the wires. He put black electrical tape which the cabinet man said was a fire danger. He was at our house 2 hours and charged $485 for what should have been approximately $300 to $350. We now have to have this redone correctly which will be another charge. I would not recommend Ed's Electric to anyone.
