Recently, the power went out in my garage. I called "Down the Road Electric," left a message and…read morereceived a call back within 70 minutes. Jeff said he would be there within the hour and sent me a text when he was 10 minutes away. Jeff determined the problem was a faulty circuit breaker within 2 minutes. He went to his truck to get a replacement and my power was restored to my garage within 10 minutes of his arrival (if not sooner.) He was personable, professional, very courteous, communicative, and efficient. Truly, Plato's idea of an electrician. The cost the service call was incredibly reasonable! Frankly, I was shocked at how low my bill was. You can bet that I will call "Down the Road Electric" the next time I need electrical services.

Mike stepped in quickly and knocked out our long to-do list including retiling two bathrooms, installing closet doors, scraping and repainting exterior trim and a whole host of small items to get our house ready to sell. We were out of town and Mike communicated frequently, keeping us apprised of the progress without having to track him down. We are really lucky we found him when we did.

I went to my bank, withdrew the money because they wanted me to pay cash. They then text me 15 minutes AFTER they said they would be there to say something came up and they couldn't do the job. Didn't offer another time they could come out or anything. All he said is "sorry things come up". Which I totally understand. But it's not professional to cancel a job completely after you were already expected to be there. He then proceeds to tell me that he's never had a customer be this rude to him. I wasn't rude at all, just justifiably upset. And technically I'm not a customer. So this isn't a review of the work they actually do. This is a review for their professionalism.
