ER and ICU were caring and concerned but nurse "Stacy" (in area after Surgery) was rude, abrupt, dismissive and dishonest. She sent pain medicine (for use after surgery) to a pharmacy that (unknown to her because she never. Checked) couldn't fill it. Patient had NO pain medicine 17 hours after surgery (with last dose during out-processing) until an outside dr agreed to provide pain medicine about 27 hours after hospital dose. "Stacy" lied and said there was no place we could appeal to or complain to. Found it on line! Scary place with all admin refusing to admit error and apologize or show that they have fixed the problem of discharging without pain meds after major abdominal surgery.

Arrived at about 645pm with extreme pain and nausea from an abscessed tooth. The antibiotics the…read moredentist had prescribed were messing me up big time. Dr Joshua H listened to my explanation and assured me he'd help. He prescribed a new antibiotic, called it in and after picking it up I headed home. Within 3 hrs of taking it my nausea was GONE! Everyday that I took it the swelling and pain went down. By the time I made it to the dentist for treatment I only had a bit of swelling and pain. The Dr knows his stuff! Price was very affordable with my insurance and the support staff were helpful and pleasant despite it being at the end of their working day. Highly recommend them!

When we first arrived we were told we could apply for the Texas health dept because she wasn't…read moreinsured until the next month. Then we do as the front desk lady said, went to the other office and asked for the paperwork that we were told to ask for and fill out. I was then told that we aren't allowed to fill out that paper work and they were going to send us away. So I spoke up and told her she needed to call the front desk and see what she said, and lo and behold I get handed a paper to fill out. When at first we were going to be turned away. I had explained that she has been experiencing almost crippling pain for 6 months and the last doctor we went to suggested a OB so we come here to see if we can get some help. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced the lack of urgency behind needing to be seen and telling them she has really bad pain, instead of filling out the paperwork they told us to go get right away so they could finish the process. We have been waiting another almost hour just to be seen. Im not sure if it's because of our age that they aren't taking us seriously, or if they believe we're lying about how serious her symptoms are. This happens way too often to young people seeking help!! Things need to change.
