This is my second time dealing with Sweeneys Garage on Bridgefoot st. Their treatment of me is exceptional. Ash assessed my problem , and offered to drop me home while the car was repaired. This in itself was incredibly kind. Before he did so he tried something , and fixed it completely , within minutes....and get this, no charge! I actually cried. It is hard moving through this world with a disability, but kindness like this is rare and valuable. I will be recommending Sweeneys garage to all. I finally have a garage I can trust! Had to get tracking done and asked if they could identify what the knocking noise could be on my…read morecar which was to do with the front suspension, they have checked and noticed a part which was on its way out that another mechanic didn't identify. Got booked in a week later, on the day after changing the parts the noise has indeed reduced! But there was something else causing the clunking noise.. they gladly invited me to come back around a few hours later after i called in. We did a test drive with one of the mechanics who was very helpful; he has lifted up the car again and checked through again and has found that the previous mechanic didn't tighten the droplinks correctly. He has tightened them correctly and long behold the noise was completely gone! No extra charge and a lot of peace of mind!! Would recommend!

Ok little update ....some 3-4 weeks later...the quick fix I got on my 2 rear tyres (just a…read morepuncture) only worked for one of the tyres. Since I paid 40-45e for these and front wipers, that was worth giving it a shot but I ll have to go back for that tyre and get a new one because it slowly deflates again... will keep you posted on that. Oh and I haven't found the second hand part I was looking for so I didn't get them to fit it for me. Actually, if someone knows a dead Yaris, first models, I'd be delighted to get the motor that pushes the window cleaning liquid...I know, that's a ridiculous little piece of the car I didn't know existed until it annoyingly died on me ! And update 2, went back for tyre replacement and taaaadaaa to fit a new motor for the window cleaning liquid...Amazed again at the level of customer service, they're all nice and super diligent. They even cleaned my light shields for free, which I thought were just naturally yellowy with...time, not dirt ! I m just happy I found a garage I can trust and that gives me free little extras.
