This was our first time to Spirits of 77 fro breakfast. We have been in before to have drinks in…read morethe bar, but had never been to the resturant side. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and eggs, which of course I got to sample. It was really good. The gravy was thick and creamy and had really good flavor (not milky or floury at all). The chicken fried steak was tender and tasty and they were able to cook his eggs perfectly. I had a couple of eggs, bacon, and silver dollar pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon seemed like it had been sitting out for a little while, but still had good flavor. The pancakes were a little off. I think it might have been the syrup and not the actual pancakes. I also got to try some of the green chile that comes on the smothered breakfast burrito. It was pretty tasty also. A little more on the tomatoe side than I'm used to, but had some good heat to it. Over all we liked it and will probably come back for breakfast.
