The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. This young man is an outstanding ambassador for Valor Pest specifically and a credit to the pest control industry in general. My wife and I will be singing the praises of Valor Pest Control for years to come

He never came back, so we called them several months later and someone showed up to spray outside. He only sprayed in front of the garage door for a minute or two. I called them to suspend service for a while and was told I couldn't do that, and would have to pay the full start up price again ($1000) when we wanted another service. We canceled our service and they sent me a completely BS bill. The last time they were here I paid in cash without receiving a receipt because I didn't know I was dealing with crooks. Now they are trying to back bill me for services we've already paid. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

Orkin didn't install Ridge Guard screens on the first of the two houses that we had them treat for…read moremice. When I asked the branch manager Nathan Hastings why they did on the second house but not the first, he said "because of the pitch" of the roof. My response to him was, "It might be too steep for your men, but not for mice. We paid $22,000 for mouse exclusion and you leave the ridge vents open for mice to enter?" So if you have a roof with a 12/12 pitch, Orkin might not disclose that they will seal all other mouse entry points but not the ridge vents. The second house had a 1980-sq. ft. attic, and the mouse treatment was $22,950. They also treated both houses for termites at $4,000 each house. Matthew Calvin and Sid Way were very knowledgeable, and I give them special thanks for teaching me and sharing their expertise. The 2-stars rating is for being way overpriced.

We've used Orkin off and on for almost 30 years but I am not a happy camper with them since moving…read moreto Tennessee. We just moved into an apartment here and hired Orkin for cockroaches. It's been almost a month and we are still killing up to 10 a day. Something is not at all right about this as all of the apartments we rented in California when Orkin came out within a couple weeks any and all bugs we had were completely obliterated. Winter, spring , summer or fall Orkin has always been as far as I was concerned to be the creme de la creme in pest control but not so much since moving here.
