We were immediately greeted and given samples of anything and everything drinkable, including the wines. Ruben was so personable, I thought he owned the place. They brew several beers. After trying a couple samples, my husband settled with the Summerbrew. He really liked it initially but decided it was too rich after drinking about half the glass. I rather enjoyed the Rosso wine. Quite relaxing. There are many places to sit inside and outside, including sets of comfy chairs. I think there was an upstairs as well. Every time we come into town, I'm always looking for a brewery. Finally found this one. We were out and about, so we decided to check this place out. I'm glad we did. The brewery is small, but plenty of parking. Also, they have a patio outside, so that is nice. The staff are super friendly, and give out taste sample of the beers. They do have food, we didn't order food, but the menu had good choices. I started with the patrol porter. I love porters, but when it's hot outside I like to drink lighter beers. I then got a flight. They all looked the same, but had different taste. I can wait to go back to try the food and find my favorite beer. I loved that this place had other beers, than just their own. This makes it more inviting for people who don't like craft beers. My cousin doesn't like craft beers, but knowing that they serve other beers, bottle and draft. Makes it easier for us to include our cousins. Staff was super friendly and great to talk to. read more

Nice establishment but no bar. I like sitting at a real bar. Only had one beer that wasn't fruit flavored.

It looked quite new to me since no one had reviewed this so I suppose I can have the dubious honor of being the first. I stopped in here after my round of golf for a beer. Tried the honey ale which was tasty and had flavors of.... honey. I know right!? I was surprised no one was in here since the interior is inviting and there's outdoor seating too. A couple of large TVs inside were playing the World Cup and the owners/managers were getting drawn to it. I guess soccer captivates people out this way. Only one of the owners speaks English fluently so know your español or have Google translate handy with you. Also they prefer cash payments (although they'll accept credit cards). Reminds me of some of the breweries in Houston and back in DMV where I'm from. Laredo is lucky to have this one and I foresee it becoming a big deal sooner rather than later! read more

The guy who claims to be the manager, Ruben, is a creeper whenever you leave your girl to use the restroom. The cook takes life to bring your food out. One of the female waitresses, not sure about her name, is rude and is overly concerned about the alcohol she consumes while she is working, versus bringing your order out. The place has potential, but the beer isn't consistent with the taste. You could taste the same beer the whole month, and it will change in taste. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's trash.
