They are kind, comfortable to be around, and totally self-contained. They operated seamlessly, pretty much disappearing into the crowd when big moments took place, making us feel like there weren't a bunch of cameras around. But they captured every moment! They work together so well, and we really enjoyed the experience and time we got to spend with them before the party and at the end when they did videography as the sun went down. The videos they provided are professional, high end, and they perfectly capture the essence of the day. We cannot thank them enough for everything!!! It was so much fun! love, Lucas & Jane

We live in NJ and had our wedding in Sacramento, CA, so planning a wedding from the other side of the country adds an extra level of stress. Yet, I never had to stress or worry about H & Co. Even with the 3-hr time difference, it was never an issue to get ahold of them and ask our questions. They showed up at our rehearsal to make sure they'd be set for the next day, and when the special day came, they were incredibly prepared and always in the right spot at the right time. Our special day will live forever in our amazing wedding video. It's so worth having a videographer--watching our video back now, it truly transports us back to that day last summer, reliving those one-in-a-lifetime moments. The video is far beyond what I could have imagined, and that's all due to the talent folks at H & Co.

Prior to the wedding we did our engagement photos with them. It got us comfortable in front of the camera, and was actually very romantic. (When else do you get to stand around and feel beautiful and kiss the man of your dreams for a few hours!) At the wedding, they did a great job of getting all the necessary family photos, then stole my groom and I away for some "romantics" right after our ceremony. It was absolutely magical. We haven't even seen the photos or video yet, but we know it's going to be incredible. Before we even got engaged, my husband and I met them at my best friend's wedding, and knew we had to have them at ours as well! Photo/video can be a big part of the budget, but your memories are 100% worth it. We knew the day would go by too fast, so it was worth it for us to have everything documented in photo and video. We even had them come to our Rehearsal Dinner! Highly recommend H&Co, we absolutely LOVE them!

I studied videography and filmmaking in school, and currently create video content, so when…read morechoosing my wedding videographer, I had VERY high standards. A few things I was looking for: - Creative + cinematic footage shot from different angles. - Usage of visual footage, music, and audio from vows/speeches to tell a story (which includes rising action and a climax). - Audience retention: keeping my viewers excited the entire length of the film (if the film was going to be 10 minutes long, I wanted my viewers to feel like it was much shorter since they were engaged the entire time, rather than doze off in boredom). - Overall I wanted someone to create a cinematic film rather than just a video. Vitaily from Aperina checked ALL of those boxes. After months of researching videographers, I only needed to watch 1 of his samples to know immediately that he was going to be perfect for us. We got a sneak peek of his work when he made us a short engagement / save-the-date film to send to our invitees. Our family/friends were blown away by this, and some even said "your engagement film was better than some people's wedding films" or "If this is just the engagement one, I can't wait to see what he does for your wedding!" On our wedding day, I loved watching his creativity flow when capturing footage. I was able to completely trust his work, and never had to give him any direction (which was super important for me to be able to live in the moment that day!) We received the final product 3 months after the wedding, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations and created the most beautiful wedding film for us. Vitaliy was truly our dream videographer, and we could not be happier with our entire journey with him. Take this from someone who knows a little bit about filmmaking - I can't recommend Vitaliy enough! Book him for your wedding, and you will be so glad that you did!

We would highly recommend Melanie and Andrew to anyone in the Grass Valley area.

I found them through my wedding venue, and we worked them for both our engagement and wedding photo/video because we loved their editing style- which I would describe as warm, detailed, and vibrant. Planning a wedding can be so stressful, but after talking to Kayla for the first time, I didn't feel the need to look elsewhere- they were the only photographers I contacted! From pricing, to scheduling, and receiving our photos/video, my husband and I were so amazed by their work. They captured our wedding so beautifully, and we will cherish these photos forever! As a bride that needed friends in the wedding business, Ashton Imagery was just that and more. Weddings can be an expensive occasion and one more added cost might just put you over the edge. We came across an add Brandon had put out and decided we wanted to meet with him. The moment I met with him I knew he would be great. He was so laid back and wanted to assure me that everything I was picturing for our wedding day would happen. Our wedding planner had told him to show up at noon on the day of the wedding but with last minute changes to the timeline I had to ask him to show up at 11. He had absolutely no problem with that and was extremely easy to work with. The day of the wedding came and I hardly noticed they were there with the exception of the few times he asked us to speak to the camera or do something fun for the video. Brandon was really amazing and helped keep the day stress free. We finally received our highlight video and I could tell he put a lot of work into the video. When we received the first video the song we had chosen was a little shorter than we realized so we asked him if it was possible to pick a new song. Again he had no problem and I am so happy with the new highlight. I know he worked really hard on it and it really came through in the emotions that were captured. The main video was even better than the highlight. Like another user said, our video is one of the most cherished things we have from our wedding day and I know we will cherish it for many years to come. Thank you Brandon for all of the hard work you did to make our wedding day perfect and to allow our memories to live for a lifetime.

Our wedding was very small and intimate, and they made it feel every bit as special and important as a much larger event. With that in mind, I chose the two things I absolutely needed photographed during the day. I knew I wouldn't get a whole package for my budget amount and was willing to work with a photographer to have the day captured and stay within my budget. I contacted five photography vendors given to me by the venue. I explained my situation to all five, made my requests and gave my budget. One didn't even bother to contact me back. Two of them contacted me back and I could feel the snobbery and rudeness in the response - along the lines of (scoffing) "we won't do anything for that small of a budget". One was a bit nicer in their declining of accommodating my modest budget, telling me that if I found more money in my budget to get back to them. Then I heard from Lily Rose. Debbie was friendly, understanding, accommodating, and really collaborated with me and my budget to get me everything I was looking for. Communication throughout was easy and responses were prompt. The day of the wedding the two photographers showed up early and began photographing. Ashley and Mia were like members of my family. They had the list I had provided of the groups to be photographed. They had memorized the names of the wedding party and immediate family members I had listed on the questionnaire. They introduced themselves to everyone and immediately put names with faces. Them knowing the names and putting them with faces made it so much easier and efficient when taking the photos. It felt like family members were taking our photos, not some strange, random people. Ashley and Mia were professional, friendly, and thorough without wasting time. I never felt rushed, yet all of the requested groups got photographed in under the budgeted time. Mia kept asking me if there was anything else she could do for me, and they stayed past the allotted time. It was smooth, easy, and FUN! When we received the gallery within days (much sooner than promised) there were over 1,000 photos there. When I was looking through them, I saw photos I didn't even know I wanted, but was glad I had! They really did a magnificent job of documenting the day, the venue, and the guests. I feel like I got more than what I paid for. When planning your wedding, Lily Rose Photography should be the first phone call you make after securing the venue and booking the date. You won't regret it.
