Free range balls, chipping balls, and putting green are all waiting for you after you check in with the pro-shop. There is a starter waiting in the area with lots of golf cart parking and your name is announced on a loud speaker when its time to tee off. You will also notice a lot of members using their own course approved golf carts. The Pro Shop is exceptional! Friendly staff, large clothing selection, clubs for sale, as well as balls/tees/shoes/gear. Drive up, drop your bags at the bag drop and they will be put on the cart for you while you go park the car. When your done, they'll remove them & clean them from the cart so you can just get your car and drive up without having to lug clubs through the parking lot. The restaurant doesn't open until lunch time, but there is a beverage cart person that drives around multiple times during your round. Course condition has been near perfect during our times in season and out of season, even during the summer! The club uses reciprocity during the summer months, so unless you purchase a PGA pass, you won't be able to play this course. (not on GolfNow). The course winds through a nice, gated community with water on just a few holes. We love hole 18, which requires you to lay up from the tee box, before hitting your 2nd shot onto the island green!

The placement of the Red tees was also ridiculously far in front of the whites. There is no food or bev to be found on the course except water. Bottom line... save your money. Very pleasant staff, respectful, to the attendees with an effort to remember our names. Owners are as friendly as it gets , we have already been envited to join in with owners at different events. Beautiful grounds with the home owners maintaining attractive landscaping. We lived on Marco Island and Napleas for 20 years , but due to health reasons had to sell and move closer to family, therefore if I was a buyer and looking to buy inb the Naples area , I would definitely look in the Foxfire community. I don't go golfing but I know people around here and one of them does, so I actually was able to enjoy seeing how the other half live - or should I say the 1%, and it's pretty fancy to say the least. And this isn't even one of the fanciest clubs, but they do keep it looking pretty nice - especially the golf course part. I just can't believe the shocking amount they are charging for this thing.

Condo fees and food fees are average for Florida at around 300 per month for condo fees and 600 per year food requirement which was just increased from 400 per year since they remodeled the restaurant. Many of the area clubs have golf fees in the 6k range per year though the courses are longer and a bit fancier. Social only properties have fees around 2600 for use of the club and facilities per year again decent for Naples and Fort Myers area. Food at the restaurant is very good quality and the gym is a brand new facility.The club has many clubs and activities for everyone and Pro shop has a very nice staff and a golf simulator in the clubhouse. Only down side is no full practice facility due to limited space. Overall it's a very nice well kept community and a friendly safe place with a great location essentially right in the middle of town close to 5th avenue and the beaches. The new management company Anchor management is far better than Guardian or Sand Castle the prior management companies for my particular association neighborhood.

Two players, dressed in white, took their shots at square wickets. This isn't the sport you pulled from a sagging cardboard box when you were a kid. This is chess on the lawn. The fresh cookies were offered in baskets on a buffet table shared by soup tureens. Most Naples golf clubs set out fresh cookies for the golfers in both the dining rooms and the locker rooms. It's an indoor sport to guess how the cookies will be presented at any particular venue. Service was casual and friendly. We had delicious Reubens. I always like to see how "properly dressed" is actually practised. Country Club casual at Audubon doesn't veer from the the usual golf togs for lunch. Another recent phenom is the gradual replacement of chairs and banquettes in dining rooms, both public and private. Audubon has fine examples of the trend, with a gathering of what I affectionately call Fat Ass seats. They've also chosen chairs with wheels to move across the carpet with ease.

The natural setting with surrounding preserves and water hazard will make you think about every shot you make. Our golf group played here last week. The first thing you noticed is that every tee-boxes is well manicured like carpet. The fairways are well maintained with an exception of one fairway. Water accumulation from the night rain and a pump was used to drain the water. The greens vary in undulation and are above medium speed. Our favorite hole is the number 1 handicap hole number 6. This long par 4 features a lake covers the entire right-hand side. The green is on the right side and guarded by a large bunker at the left front. Naturally, it is sloped toward the water. This is a fantastic hole and will provide challenge to your golf skills. The staff is friendly and professional. It is well run facility! The beauty of the land combined with expert design truly produced an excellent golf experience in Naples.
