I'll try and keep this short: I have had terrible experiences with dentists over many years which…read morehas developed into a phobia. The staff here has really helped me with the psychological side of my visits, and much better than that is the dentist herself. For the first time in my life my teeth were made numb on the first attempt. I felt absolutely no pain and very minimal discomfort which has made me much more confident about getting all the work that I need done. I'm not sure about the reviews that report up-selling... I have expressed my willingness to spend a lot of money to get my teeth to look like I don't work on a pirate ship, and they have only told me that we'll worry about that later. If they were grabbing for my money I'd have a basket full of brochures by now. And I know they aren't lying about my cavities because I saw the x-rays and it doesn't take an expert to know that teeth shouldn't look like Swiss cheese. All I know is that I've hated the dentist for 30 years and I love this one. Believe me, that speaks volumes for people who know me.

Wish I had looked at these yelp reviews previously. I experienced the same, was told by the…read moredentist that I needed a partial crown. I asked her how long before it is a problem as I was not experiencing any pain, or any problem. No real answer. Well it has been over a year. when I was in 6 months ago the staff at the front desk commented under her breath "I guess he didnt need that crown" . about 2-3 years ago a different dentist from that office was doing a filling, and hurt me so badly I literally jumped out of the chair. I never saw him there again after that. I had a cleaning scheduled for next week. yesterday I got a voicemail reminder. today I got a text saying my insurance is not good there and that the charge for a cleaning is now $310. I text back and said is a cleaning really $310? They responded yes, and I responded to please cancel my appointment. I should have canceled this place a very long time ago.

I normally love going to the dentist, but this office gave my family one of the worst experiences…read morewe've ever had. During my cleaning, the dentist caused horrible pain to my teeth -- something I've never experienced before at any other office. That alone made me switch dentists. Even worse, my fiancée was in severe pain with her teeth, and the office would not see her for two weeks. They ignored how much pain she was in, and by the time they finally scheduled her, she ended up needing an emergency root canal on the spot. A month later, she experienced another awful toothache, and instead of seeing her, they just wanted to give her pain medication and delay treatment again. They didn't return her calls promptly, and when they finally did, they still scheduled her days out. We nearly went to the emergency room, but thankfully we found a new dentist who took her in immediately. It turned out her filling had broken, her tooth was decaying, and the infection had spread into her gum, cheek, and almost up to her nose. SHE HAD A SECOND EMERGENCY ROOT CANAL!!! That pain should never have been ignored. No dentist should ever refuse to treat a patient in that much pain. This office was dismissive, unresponsive, and neglectful. Stay away from this place!!!!

I was in search of a surgeon who would remove it and scheduled an appointment with Dr. O. (as the office staff refer to him). I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a professional in all of my 66 years of life on this earth! Every statement he made was a direct insult in response to my telling him that the bone loss was causing the implant failure. He told me 'you are just repeating what you heard. We all have bone loss. You have no idea why you are in pain and it shows a lack of intelligence for you to say you know what it is! It could be something else'. He was cold and callous and expressed no compassion for the fact that I have been experiencing intermittent pain for 10 months. I walked out of that office humiliated and dejected. I cried on my way to the car and needed 10 minutes before I could compose myself to drive home. I have since gone to a periodontist who told me the answer was simple. As I already knew, the implant needs to be removed and a bone graft done. I believe I was a victim of sexism and ageism by this 'so called professional'. Also, Jaret, his assistant who was very kind to me prior to the doctor arriving, just stood by and seemed unphased by his behavior. I have taken the time to write this as the public needs to know. At some point, I had to go back because I was in pain. Not wanting to go back to the dentist I grew up with, I took a suggestion from my sister to see Dr. Tabori. This office was a 180 from the old office I belonged to. Not only is Dr Tabori super friendly and not at all threatening, but everyone who works there has this same demeanor. Something that stuck out to me on the new patient paperwork was questions about being afraid of the dentist or having bad past experiences. The fact that they cared about that kind of thing made me immediately feel at ease and I knew I made the right decision to switch. They tell you everything you need to know about your teeth and gum health, and the work you need to get done, at home care, but I never find them to be judgmental or preach-y. I've been a patient of Tabori's for about 10 years now and have no intention of leaving! 5/5
