As I write this review, I am enjoying a Ginger Gold apple with Lapacek's delicious caramel sauce. If a friend hadn't told me about Lapacek's, They probably would have never been on my radar, but so glad they did!!! This is such a cute place for the entire family. My son especially loved all the cats and they followed him around the entire property. You cannot pick your own apples, but they do have pick your own tomatoes and some other produce. The apples come in a variety of pre-bagged sizes (1/4 peck, 1/2peck and full peck) which I appreciate so we can try several different kinds. So far everything we have had from them has been delicious (caramel apples, caramel sauce, apples, tomatoes, apple cider, apple cider donuts). What an amazing little family friendly place to visit here in Poynette, WI. We thought it would be nice to get the kids out of the house during these last few nice sunny days, all while still being safe during these unique times. This visit was exactly what our family and children needed! They have an awesome set-up.... You can order online and pick up or stop in and visit in person. All their staff are wearing mask and practicing safe business for all their customers. Hand sanitizer was available everywhere to use as you needed. We went inside their gift shop to browse through all the goodies. We wound up with some fresh honey, carmel for dipping, an apple slicer, fresh apple cider, bags of different styles of apples, apple sauce and best of all (my favorite) the apple cider doughnuts! The shop has a little bit of everything. We really like the Empire apples and the Snow Whites! The apples are all labeled with information and great descriptions of flavors. Also information on which ones that are better for baking and cooking with. They have them ready to purchase in whatever size bag you want from small to large! Very reasonably priced... When you are done shopping and getting your family all the goodies they can handle. Make sure you take some time to walk out back to take advantage of some of their outdoor adventures. You can walk around, take some family photos, pet their goats, see the chickens and so much more. Our daughters love to pet and visit the animals. If you have never visited this apple orchard before, we highly recommend while in this area with so much to do and see make sure you go pay them a visit. You will not be dissapointed! I bought 3 pecks of apples on the 19th of September 2021 after staff recommended an assorted blend of already bagged apples for canning. When trying to can these apples 1/4 were bruised and all but a few were much to soft for canning. I have been canning apples for close to 30 years but decided to try the apples the woman (Possibly the Owner) recommended to me. I am extremely upset that I spent close to 40.00 for apples that were not meant for canning. The place was clean and staff were friendly but I'll never be back. I actually believe I was lied to so they could get rid of apples that were not selling! read more

I'm late to the game with the review, but I recommend checking this place out for some fall fun. Not only are the apples and the products made with them really good (seriously, those apples are so fresh and crisp compared to what I'm used to and the cider and apple cider donuts are really tasty), but the shop sells products from various other farms (ex: a local beekeeper's honey) and craftspeople. Walking around the orchard is really peaceful on a cool fall day and they've got a small playground with a bunch of tractor tires embedded in the ground for kids to climb all over. Children (and adults) will also love all the cats roaming around all over the place--they're really friendly and tend to follow you around if you give them any attention. Just make sure to watch for cats when you're leaving because they tend to hang out under cars. read more

Lapacek's is great, they have excellent apples and other fruits. Good place for kids. One complaint is they don't let you pick your own apples - but hardly anyone does these days because of all the waste. read more
