The lady at the counter was waiting for me to pay for the plants after which she placed the discounted price on the rack. She was not at all helpful and was terribly rude when I asked her about the succulents soil. read more

I find it shocking that the arrangements he creates he lets go for the very meager prices that he does. In America we would pay 4-10x as much for something not nearly as beautiful. It's a shame I don't have pictures to post but will be sure to in the coming future. He delivers weekly to a gallery in the spiegelkwartier and it brings me ever renewed joy to see his new creations every Monday. I brought an arrangement of his flowers to someone mourning their lost loved one. The funeral director happened to be there (who most probably sees many, many flowers) and said that she should probably have *this* florist do the flowers for the funeral. A bit of a somber example, but a solid testament to his work. Bravo :) (And in a very cute shop in a convenient location,I may add)

Online ordering was easy, and since I placed the order for delivery in a town about an hour outside of Amsterdam, they kept me updated via email on the delivery status of the local florist they were partnering with. The flowers were beautiful and were delivered on time! Highly recommend if you are out of the country and looking for a reliable company.

The flowers that arrived, on time, were more beautiful than the ones in the photo. The cost was reasonable and I was informed the entire time of the process and when the flowers were delivered. Yelp Review 2023 #24:…read more Even on a cold and rainy day, Amsterdam's Bloemenmarkt still has a charm you simply cannot resist. The vibrant colors makes you forget just how cold it is on a winter day. You can buy fresh flowers, seeds, bulbs, and stuff for your garden. There are souvenir shops and restaurants across this flower market. As much as I would have loved to grab something from here to take home, it would've gotten confiscated at the airport anyway and even if we're allowed to bring seeds and bulbs back home, there's no way it would survive Vegas heat. But it was nice to look around and see the beautiful flowers. It is "the world's only floating flower market" on the canals of Amsterdam. It's a free activity until you buy something.

I ended up getting some gifts for family/friends. The area could get a little crowded, and next to the flower markets there are also a lot of separate tourist/gift stores. Even if you are not into flowers, this place is worth checking out as it is near the city centre.

After we left the Anne Frank House we stopped here. They had a glorious assortment of tulips for €3.50. Then I saw some beautiful daffodils for about the same price. But when I saw bunches of freesias for €2 it was all over but the sniffing and the choosing. As much as I love tulips, freesias are my favorite flowers. It was too cold for the smell to fully develop, so I chose a beautiful double pink bunch. I asked if he would prune the ends and he asked which hotel we were staying at and cut them to the perfect length. When we returned to the hotel I requested a vase and a few minutes later a man was at our door w/ two for me to choose from. I chose the taller of the two and the vase and flowers sit beside my computer on the desk, looking beautiful as they open and smelling good.

Lousie is like a hummingbird, quickly darting all over, from petal to stem, flowers sort of falling off of her hurried ways, leaving a trail of petals and pollen wherever she goes. She's often busy, but never makes you wait without acknowledging you there. She has a massive selection of gorgeous flowers, it'd be difficult to find even one flower not in perfect condition.
