My father was left in urine-soaked clothing resulted in worsened skin irritation, and the lack of proper mobility support appeared to contribute to a decline in his physical condition. The overall environment felt dehumanizing and emotionally destabilizing, ultimately prompting his expedited discharge home so he could receive the consistent therapeutic care and emotional support necessary for meaningful rehabilitation. A rehabilitation facility should be a place that promotes healing, dignity, and attentive care. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of these.

The staff will only wash the residence twice a week, so I went to wash my mother on my own, and the shower rooms are worse than what you would see in a movie during a jail spray down. The residents crowd the entryway to the building because there is nothing for them to do. The so-called nurses which I don't believe they are I think they are "unit clerks" who failed out of nursing school don't even make sure that the patients take the medication they're handing out. I found multiple pills laying all over my mother's room, and I took pictures of them each day I was there to see if anybody was cleaning the room-and that they would've been taken away. Even when I told the nursing supervisor and she came to the room and I pointed out the pill she didn't even take it off the counter. It's a very dangerous situation. I already called the board of health. They should be receiving a visit shortly. !!! They leave dirty sheets laying in the rooms once they strip the beds, full of blood and feces .

They have terrible communication between staff and patients, and it seems they cannot keep staff for long, likely because of the same problems I experienced. The owner was rude, dismissive, and not a good listener, which is especially concerning for an organization built on therapy and trust. Even after I showed proof that their therapist lied on documentation, the owner took no accountability. It also feels as though this organization set up shop not to truly help people, but to take advantage of the very community it is supposed to serve. In addition, there were three staff members who actually represented the community Aviva claims to serve, but none of them stayed--I wonder why. I've already reported Aviva to the state and filed a grievance with my son's insurance company. In my opinion, this organization is not serving families with honesty, respect, or professionalism.

And not just as my doctor but to talk to me as a friend if I was having a bad day, he has even called me back on his days off, so as long as your doing what your suppose to be doing then there are no issues, but i Know of people who weren't doing the right thing and gave them bad reviews, when that's not the case at all, and the front office people even have always been pleasant to me and got me in and out of the office as fast as they can, they have went above and beyond and I would not change offices for Nothing!!!!
