When I came to Loving Kindness Hypnosis, there were several issues that I wanted to target. Laney Coulter's card says, "Transform your life", and for me, it was absolutely life-changing. I was at one of my lowest points ever. I felt completely alone and unsupported and stuck there while being unable to ask for the help I needed, wanted, and deserved. I wondered why I should even exist. I had some previous minimal experience with hypnosis so I asked my counselor for a referral. She referred me to Laney's practice. If you are reading this review, you have feelings and ruminations of your own to deal with, so I will spare you mine. Fill in your own blanks here. Anyway, I decided to take a chance. What I got was: - A kind, caring person who used some time and industry tested techniques to tap into myself. - A professional who makes a real connection with the person they are trying to understand and help. - A friend, though I've known her for such a short time, seems to be able to see into my soul and always knows the right thing to say, or technique to use to make me feel better or give that new perspective in dealing with trauma, pain or anxiety. - Every time I've gone into Robin's office, I honestly leave a better person. Better by way of my own personal well being and always, always relaxed. - Someone who I can tell anything to and know this will be maintained and used in a strictly professional manner, and that would be to help myself through the labyrinth of life. I wish I could assign more stars to Anew Perspective and Robin, but alas, we all have our limitations. I can't stress enough how wonderful, kind, caring and talented Robin is and if you see her and open up, you'll understand exactly what I'm saying here. Christa is absolutely great at making sure everyone feels comfortable and making the group a non competitive one. Running was hard at first but I quickly got hooked on it and looked forward to seeing my fellow troopers early mornings 3 days a week. The power of the group really works wonders for motivation, and christa is one of the best group leaders I've ever come across. She has an infectiously positive energy that permeates across more than just exercise. When I was struggling and looking for work, she kept me thinking positive and striving toward my goals. Something must've worked because I got my dream job! I'd recommend Fitlandia to anyone looking for a positive, healthy change - be it large or small.

First off, I'll say that this is a group that is in it to support fitness for the long haul. There is no "go till you drop" mentality - it is supportive, fun, and is designed to allow folks to safely and find their own appropriate challenge level. This is fitness with two awesome twists. The first twist is right in the tagline - a "subconscious twist" - and it's highly insightful. How many of our exercise and fitness decisions (and any decision, really) are driven by subconscious stories we tell ourselves? If you haven't thought much about this before, I'll spare you the suspense: A LOT! Fitlandia beautifully incorporates this aspect of ourselves into an overall fitness program that lasts for the long haul, not just until you can see your leg muscles again, or until you can fit in those pants, or until your wedding is over, or until you're bored or frustrated or whatever. The second twist is Christa King, the motivating, positive minded mastermind and cheerleader behind Fitlandia. She brings a diversity of experiences and an intuitive intelligence to take Fitlandia from a brilliant concept to a concrete fitness program that will change lives for the better. Needless to say, I'm sold.
