When I was in my final year of high school we were able to do an extra curricular course the choices were photography, first aid and an introduction to employment law at Langside. At the start of 6th year I was convinced I wanted to study law at uni but this dull course really put me off to be honest. But hey, I don't think law is the most exciting course and all my friends that do it are constantly complaining at how dull it is. Anyway, my employment course here was as exciting as it could be and it gave me an insight into law. They offer a full range of Highers at the college, HNC and HND courses and they also have a wide range of evening classes. For years I have been saying to myself that I'll do one of the evening jewellery making courses that they have here as I would love to make my own jewellery. I'll get round to it one of these days. This is a very handy, local college which manages to attract students (in all capacities) from all over Glasgow. I can certainly account for this when I get the early morning bus to uni. My bus journeys aside, it seems that this college has for years attracts many people from all over Glasgow. This has got to be a good sign. I myself have never actually attending a course here, however know quite a few others who have. Subsequently, I can say with conviction that this college offers a wide range of course and flexible learning styles. These are the strongest elements. As for the courses, there is an element of hit and miss, however this is nothing unique and should be expected in any institution. On the whole, I have heard mainly positive response and comments on any courses attended. So, worth having a look at their website if you want to go gain a higher, certificate or just take up a new hobby. I will certainly get round to a cooking course here - some day... read more
