I found RIH online after having been less than satisified with other companies we tried previously. 100% recommend Right at Home. With RIH I have been so impressed over the entire duration! From the initial consultation to the final day. Owner Bobbie was available to us at all times, which I found very comforting. Veronica in the office was super helpful and patient with our high maintenance scheduling (we had very tricky scheduling and last minute changes). She also came out to train in person if we had a new person coming in. We often had Crystal with our Mum, she was AMAZING with her. She not only helped my Mum with showering etc, but with EVERYTHING from changing linens, light housekeeping, cooking healthy meals, companionship and the list goes on. We also really like Mona - the office was great for trying to keep only 1 or 2 workers on the schedule with my Mum because of her dementia. Everyone has been Covid safe, wearing masks, washing hands, sanitizing. My Mum's condition has deteriorated quickly so we are now moving her into a long term care home. I called Bobbie late into the evening and she assured me she could provide what they needed. As promised, the next morning she called to say she had found it and would personally deliver it to the resort. If it wasn't for her, my Dad and Mom would have had to return home. Her commitment to excellent service is rare these days. I felt blessed to have found her! My Dad was so impressed, he gave her information to the Hotel GM and recommended they use her!

They were very passionate and informative. In addition to chatting with them at the expo I took some information to take home with me. Melva began the Society after hearing a report about an appalling situation on Barnston Island. A pilot had flown over a field containing a number of horses. A few didn't look bad, some were in poor condition, but the pilot could see at least four skeletons and one decaying horse carcass lying in a ditch.

Despite committing my time and effort, I was never compensated for my work. What makes this situation worse is that someone named Liliana, who appeared to be managing or coordinating roles within the organization, received compensation while I did not. Based on my experience, I believe this was handled unethically. It felt like I was taken advantage of and misled throughout the entire process. This experience left me feeling undervalued and exploited. I strongly urge others to be cautious before getting involved with this organization. Make sure that agreements are clearly outlined in writing and that you advocate for yourself early on, because unfortunately, my trust in Big Hearts was not rewarded--in fact, it was completely broken. **Big Hearts did not come through I have MS and needed help…read morefor 3 weeks in August. Fatma assured me Big Hearts could come through, so I hired them. I needed them to get me up in the morning, toilet, clean and dress me. Mon - Were were fine; Fatma texted late Thursday she had no one for the next morning. Panic. My night care aide offered to come. The next week Fatma let me down again and my night person came again. On the final day, the care aide texted at 6 am she could not come; Fatma had contacted her at midnight to come at 7:30 am. Again, my night person came. I would not use them again. Fatma hires good staff, but her communications are lacking, and she is unreliable, which meant I spent a lot of extra morning time in bed. If you need someone to depend on, always have a backup.
