Despite my complete lack of…read morespeaking German, we were able to get a pastry selected and describe a massive coffee cup so that I could eat. It worked out well. Nice cinnamon baked thing that was light and flaky. The coffee machine was self-service automated and yes, it filled my bowl of coffee perfectly with delicious caffeinated coffee. The staff are really friendly and patient! Tried this round "Festbrot" for Easter that was covered in almond slivers. Added some butter and a favorite marmalade...too good! The cafe is just off B27 and near the Dobelstrasse U-bahn stop, so super convenient but NOT like the congested downtown area. They offer some breakfast sandwiches too. Sich selbst genießen!

One worker abused an elderly couple trying to communicate their order. The worker (short female with longer dark hair) violently slammed trays and dishes on the counter & espresso machine because they were too slow for her. Despite apologizing for this, we were scolded harshly. They showed no understanding, even though we had small children with us. I will never go back there again, not even pass by. Best bakery in the Stuttgart-Möhringen area…read more Their breads, pastries and cakes are always fresh. We are big fans of the Laugen Brochen, Mohnschencke and Nußschencke. Occasionally they change up the Laugen Brochen which aren't as good as their normal batch. The coffee is Hochlande which is a nice coffee blend. You can also get a very nice breakfast/brunch here.
