Everything here looked pretty good, it took longer to make the pre-fueling and post-fueling trips to the fuel counter than it did to pump the 62.344 gallons, the prices are somewhat competitive at $3.609 per gallon so I got out of here for $225.00. The staff at the fuel counter were very nice and efficient even though they were very busy fortunately you can grab your actual receipt after fueling from a numbered slotted box on the edge of the counter without any additional interaction. The entrance and exit from the trucker's lanes have plenty of room to maneuver once you complete your fueling and it's only a short drive back to the interstate. The facility was well maintained and the restroom were very clean - not all Love Travel Stop are created the same but this one is well managed from the look of things...

On the outside, however, two Stuckey signs have been removed from the building, there's still a sign on the gas prices sign that showeds the Texaco logo as well... it makes me wonder if it's in the process of becoming something other than a Stuckeys.

I hadn't been to a Stuckey's in decades and decided to see if it was still the same. Unfortunately, it was not. At least this location. There were lots of trinkets and silly signs and such jammed onto the shelves. They had some products with the Stuckey's name on them and I did buy a few hot sauces but they were not good at all. They sell their own varieties of packaged and flavored nuts and candies at premium prices which I wouldn't pay especially when some of the products had dust on them. Perhaps if you're really into nostalgia and can look past this dusty, run down and tired looking place you may enjoy this place, but it was definitely not for me.

I looked around and asked her what was wrong with the bathrooms where I could just purchase the gasoline and shrugged her shoulders appointed with her extremely long finger nail to the travel center Across the street. When I went next-door across the street and informed the young lady working there that I had been directed to use their bathrooms instead of the ones at the Shell station the young lady told me that several of the gas stations in that area we're not allowing people to use the bathrooms there.
