You could definitely have it worse. 3 meals a day that all taste the same, mostly petty crime inmates, beds hurt your back, and you better know your phone numbers or else the phones useless. I can't say I was a fan of finding every length and color of hair embedded in my blanket, but again, it's jail. Definitely need a better book selection. Everything felt akin to To Kill a Mockingbird, and there were more bibles than any other book; depressing. The screamers and door stompers made sleeping hell. The guards are friendly if shown respect, they're not stingy with coloring supplies or board games. The messages on the walls can be gloomy, the crosses etched in everywhere didn't help either, but you'll definitely pray at some point in spite of it all. Be courteous, mindful of your mistakes, and try to make the most of it and you won't end up in a suicide smock. One day at a time. It can change your life, and I mean for the better. Be open to that. Everyone makes mistakes. Fools never stop. If I have any advice: collect all the juice packets, don't talk about your case, you can have up to 10 books, ask a guard for ear plugs, drink lots of water so you don't waste toilet paper, ask questions, make jokes, and let people sleep...

Last week I took 3 different truck loads here. I had never been here before, and when looking for help with questions, there were plenty of employee's around that were able to answer my questions. They have a lot of different areas to drop off anything from anti-freeze, to cardboard, books, batteries, bottles, reusable lumber, metal, plastics, plant pots and treys and that's just the recycling section. Once you separate everything out, the rest can head to the dump for 15.00 a sq. ft. Kinda spendy at the end of the day, but if you take the time to separate the papers and books and items as such, you can reduce your dump fee. Loads of wood may also be brought here for dumping. They charge 13.50 a load. Make sure you make it worth your time to do a dump run though, even though all I had to dump was an older AC unit today, I still had to pay 15.00 for it since it's considered an appliance. Looking back, I should've just took it to good will. I could've gave 4 stars if the fee's weren't so high, but the customer service is what kept it from being 2 stars.

The process was quick and easy. I then got in line to drop off my package and get some stamps. There were four people in front of me and two people working the desk, so the line moved pretty quickly. The employee I worked with was nice and fast. She took my package and got me the five sheets of stamps that I needed. The parking lot for this post office is huge, so you should never have issues finding a spot. I went around 10am and it was pretty empty, which surprised me given it's the holiday season. A lot of the reviews here are for general mail service - people complaining about their delivery or the mail carriers themselves. Y'all realize they aren't necessarily coming from this specific post office right?? Most of them are dispatched by the River Rd post office because that's the main hub for Eugene. This post office itself is good. The employees are nice and do their jobs well. The space is clean. There is ample parking. I will be using this post office for any and all shipping needs in the future.

It was very full and as a walk in I was still served in 35 minutes. How do they do it? And kind... and friendly! Everyone here is focused on making your trip to the DMV as quick and pleasant as possible. The new location is bright, comfortable and inviting. The pleasant staff works well together making the experience much better than anticipated. That night they got the best of her. To the officers: Thank You!! The three of you were very kind and gentle with her. Despite her insulting violent behavior you showed amazing patience. Her behavior was arrest worthy but you chose to take her to Buckley in stead of jail. I feel like your supervisor, co workers, families, and the public should know about the outstanding job that night. It may have seemed like a routine call to you. Hell it may have been the easiest thing you did all night, but to me......it mattered. So once again with heartfelt appreciation... Thank You!!!!!

The front desk interaction, however, was shockingly unhelpful and honestly pretty condescending. The woman working there was unnecessarily rude and dismissive from the moment my mom tried to ask a simple question. Instead of offering any actual guidance, she acted irritated, gave us attitude for no reason, and basically told us we could be there for hours and to just "use a phone" because they weren't going to assist us at all, after we had already been waiting about an hour. It was a pretty basic request for information, not a difficult situation, which makes the attitude even more baffling. Thankfully, the officer who came out afterward completely changed the tone and was helpful and professional. But if the front desk is supposed to be the first impression of the municipal court, it's not a great one. A little basic courtesy would go a long way. Right now, it feels like you're an inconvenience just for walking in and needing help.
