The crew encompasses respect, inventiveness, talent, a strong work ethic and discipline, and a sense of honesty which is hard to come by. We never saw such a hard working team from morning till day's end and without complaint but always with a friendly banter and smile. Brad is an extremely resourceful professional in his knowledge and who's who in the business. Brad and Ricky knew how to take a concept and transpose that concept into a reality that was even more beautiful, modern, and polished then the original plan. It is quite evident that these guys love what they do which only adds to our confidence for the next two phases of work in our near future. We highly recommend and give an easy 5 Stars!

I'll give credit where credit is due, my 1/2 acre plot with a fenced in yard had a LOT of leaves…read more I had just bought the home, so no one had mowed in a while. These guys did a GREAT job cleaning up the leaves. So here's why this is a 1 star review. I get a quote over the phone to mow the lawn and clean the leaves- 140/hr. I get told they will not bill my card without calling me. I had to call them every week for 3 weeks to get them to my property. They missed deadlines they set for themselves every time, until the third time I called and they asked if it needed to be done before Thanksgiving. I told them yes and they show up at 3pm the day before Thanksgiving to do some work. Sundown was at 4:30 that day, so they missed the Thanksgiving deadline (not that it mattered to me) and had to come back a second day to finish. Also, no one cut the front lawn either day they were at the home. 3 weeks later I have a $700 charge. No call to tell me the cleanup is going to run long, no call to tell me they are charging me. I honestly thought this was a mistaken charge. The only time I got a call was when I left a voice mail telling them I was going to put a stop payment on the charge. The owner called me that day and laid it all out- it was a big project, what his costs are, he wasn't stealing... No answer when I asked him why he didn't call me to tell me it was going to be a 5 hour job. He said they cut the front lawn, which makes me think he was never at the house because there is no way that was done and it's still a mess. He said he would "see what he could do to make it better so I don't bad mouth him," but that's not what this is. Like I said, these guys did a GREAT job with the leaves. But for $700 I probably could have hired the local football team to pick up the leaves by hand, one by one. I'm gonna write this one off as a loss and look for a different landscaper.

We needed a roof replacement and called this company to have someone come out to give a quote…read more They responded quickly with the quote which was provided in an Instant message. It was the first quote I received and I was waiting to receive a couple more quotes. Within a day someone followed up with a call telling me they could start the next day. I explained I was waiting for another quote and asked if they could send a proper proposal in an email. At that point they seemed put off and said if I didn't make a decision in the next couple days they wouldn't be able start for a couple months. After a couple weeks (we weren't desperate) we decided to sign their proposal and had a tentative start date in about 2 months. Two months passed and I was told it would be another month before they could start. After another month we sent an email and they responded it would be another month. After around 7 months they stopped responding to us all together. So we contacted our second choice which was another large outfit. They came out immediately and provided the quote the same day. Completed the work within a week of the proposal. It was a 2 day job. I gave Red Bank Roofing 1 star because I feel generous. But frankly I wouldn't trust them.

Joe promised, and Joe delivered…read more When my wife and I moved out of Brooklyn and bought our home in East Brunswick, we fell in love with all the landscaping the previous owners meticulously put in. Our property felt like a botanical garden, far exceeding the standard run-of-the-mill landscaping jobs you see in most neighborhoods. What I didn't realize at the time was how completely unprepared I was to maintain this level of landscaping. Even after renewing the previous owners' contract with Broehl's (the local gold standard for lawn care and maintenance) there was still too much to do. Unfortunately, I have a black thumb for this kind of thing, and there's only so many checks I can afford to write to try and keep things looking good. So for the past few years my wife and I have actually invested money in scaling *back* some of the landscaping; essentially ripping out and replacing some of the more complicated beds that have steadily been beat on over the last few brutal winters and didn't look good any more. When we met with Joe, we were clear that we wanted nice-looking beds, but nothing that would be over-the-top difficult to care for and maintain. And we wanted clear sight lines down our front yard so we could see our kids playing in the street. The overall amount of work we need to do to get our property where we really want it is pretty staggering, so Joe discussed a phased plan that would allow us to get started without breaking the bank. Long story short, he and his crew ripped out the mess of bushes and plants and undergrowth that marked the front and center portion of our lawn. He designed a simple, but elegant bed that he said would look great but wouldn't be impossible to maintain. He took photos of our property in advance, and then simulated his recommended design over the photos via computer, allowing us to "see" what it would look like before we'd have to commit. As you can see from the photos, Joe and his crew did a great job. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the work. We get a ton of compliments on the before and after. (Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the before, but trust me -- this was a huge leap forward.) Truth be told, you're really at a disadvantage if you cannot do at least some of your own landscaping. Professional landscaping is expensive -- plain and simple. And frankly, I hate paying for it. But as I said in my previous review, Joe is a no-nonsense, honest businessman. If, as the saying goes, a man is only as good as his word, Joe is a good man. He and his crew are completely professional and do great work at a very competitive price. Just look at the photos and see the work for yourself. And feel free to message me if you have any questions or want to learn more.
